Nottingham CANCELLED, too!
 I am sorry to tell you, but....
CITY IN THE PARK 2002 CANCELLED
Due to unforeseen technical problems regarding the size and nature of the stage required for the Jamiroquai appearance at Wollaton Park in Nottingham on the 21st July 2002, we the promoters have decided to cancel the event.
All tickets are now refundable. Any tickets purchased by credit / debit card will be automatically refunded by the box office. If you however purchased tickets by cash or cheque please return the receipt to the box office on Talbot Street for a refund.
Fun Lovin Criminals will however be still appearing in Nottingham but at Rock City on the 21st. Tickets are £15.00 and are on sale now. Also Distortion2002 will still be taking place.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The official jamiroquai website announces:
City In The Park, Wollaton Park, Nottingham, July 21 2002
Due to unforeseen technical problems regarding the size and nature of the stage required for the Jamiroquai appearance at the City In The Park show in Nottingham, the promoter has decided to cancel the event
The main area of concern is that the ground where the stage would be situated has been deemed temporarily unsuitable & incapable of coping with the stage and production that the Jamiroquai show requires
Nottingham City Council has confirmed that the area would need to be levelled and re-turfed but would not be ready in time for the show or before passing any necessary safety checks.
The Distortion Festival scheduled to take place at Wollaton Park on 20th July is unaffected by this decision since the two stages being used are smaller and are to be located in a different area.
All ticket holders will be offered a refund.
