Finsbury canceled
according to jamline, Jamiroquai's appearence as been canceled!
hope, there will be more information out soon.
great, now i have a ticket for a concert that is not going to happen

Finsbury Cancelled
I can't believe it! I'm flying from the US to London to see the gig. Hopefully I'm not flying especially. I'll visit my family and friends in Europe. I got an email from Ticketweb today saying the reason for the cancellation was unknown. The Rowes from Jamline have also called the promotion company and got the same answer. Bummer!!
I was so excited to finally see an AFO gig.... I'm afraid I'll have to get a life instead..

hey, miss k, i am in the same situation as you are. i was flying from germany to london to see that gig.
now i have to call the UK to report that the gig is canceled and the airline to cancel the flight. i hope, they'll do that...

Finsbury's dead, long live Nottingham
Hi CosmicBear, I read some Jamliners are exchanging their tickets for Nottingham instead. You may want to check if you could join them in case you have trouble cancelling your flight (airlines suck real bad these days  )
I must say the thought of Nottingham and meeting fans is very tempting, but I had already delayed my departure from SF to go to the gig, I'll have to think about it.
Whatever you do, I will sure have a thought for you and all the disappointed fans out there on July 20th  ; and I will send some psychic good vibes to hose in Nottingham the next day  .

no, i won't be able to go to the notthingham-gig. well, i will survive and will just have to wait for another jamiroquai-gig in the near (or not so near) future

The official Jamiroquai website announces:
Cancellation of Jamiroquai event at Finsbury Park
Mean Fiddler and ITB, the promoters of the Jamiroquai show scheduled for Saturday 20th July at Finsbury Park, regret to announce the cancellation of the show due to a licensing problem.
This week Haringey Council have rejected an application from the promoters to vary the date of a licence previously granted for September this year back to the 20th July. The reason given by the Council is that they did not want an intrusion in the school holiday period when the park is used extensively by local families. Negotiations have taken place with all the artists involved to see if the bill could be re-assembled for September but unfortunately this is not possible due to other commitments.
Full refunds are available from the point of sale.
