That's not bad at all!
This tune is excellent for some chilling sessions.
Next time try to find (or to hire, if you have the money ) some real musicians, who can play brass instruments and the strings. This would make the sound even warmer and the main saxophone would sound much more powerful. |

Haha ahhh man, absolutely brilliant - I love it, so funky! Particularly liked how hard hitting the drumming was and the bass throughout. Keep up the great work, I'd love to hear more. |

thank you so much dear friends!!!
i am so much happy you liked it
unfortunately not so many people like this retro funk direction.
i wanted to say about hiring musicians - its a good idea, but first thing i do when i get some money - i'll buy myself Rhodes Mark I with 88 keys and 3 multi controllers - the same model which Toby used in all gigs and records during 90s. (though i have seen him once playing rare Mark II model - in BLOW YOUR MIND video...)
thanks again,
cheers,

Your music sounds very professional! And if people say you shouldn't make 70's music, just ignore them. I say you SHOULD make 70's music
BTW, I just realized there are some mp3's on the net that I'm playing on. I play in a soul/funk/rock/jazz-band, as the bassist and sometimes songwriter. The adress is: www.emergencyexpress.tk and our "demo" of three mp3's are visible on the home page. I also played moog and clavinet on two of them, but it was overdubbed. The sound is bad, I know, it was a cheap microphone and our drummer isn't all that great either. _________________ Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication! |

Just a cheap Morgan bass that's supposed to look like a fender. With the same strings that were on it when I bought it six years ago. I'll buy a Rickenbacker bass later this year, though. The recordings are from this year, some time in spring. _________________ Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication! |
