Hey !
Jay´s voice in Feels just like it should is horror !!!!!!
He doesn´t hit the notes right.
I don´t understand it . Why can he sing all the old songs
properly ( despite of his socalled "laryngitis" ) and when it comes to
a new song his voice fails ?
I would have thought the new songs were written according to his current
state of voice, which means not too high !
The other songs were good though...

Hello,

Recorded it all. Nice gig. Jay's voice isn't very good in FJLIS I think, it's too high. But in Alright his voice is better. I think it's due to his voice problems. Don't forget on the studioversion of FJLIS his voice is vocodered, so that's different from singing live. I think the band did a very good job. I like the bass in Revolution, but I prefer the old versions of it. And I think Matt was exceptional this gig.

What happens to FJLIS?
Well, we all know that he got some voice problems. But tell me now, FJLIS wasn't that good. The sound was ok for me, but Jay's sing... oh boy... what is this? I think he'll need great help here with this voice thing.
But I'm still excited.

Let's do it Jay!

I didn't really like that number either...but it's the beginning of the tour, and we all know that the band likes to change the tracks as tours go on. I mean, look at Love Foolosophy. They didn't have the solos for Derrick and Sola in the early shows, but the later shows had those. I'm sure with time that FJLIS will evolve into a solid live track.

www.jamminoquai.com
Here you have everything you need.

Feels Just Like It Should simply sucks ! It's not bad, its terrible. I haven't deleted it immediately only because it's Jamiroquai. I hope they really, really, really practise this song more often.

Oh Dear !!

I rather hope it was something like a throat / voice problem, as this was definitely a piss poor performance. He couldn't sing a high note to save his life and FJLIS was appalling. I also feel that the band didn't seem too tight either, there were moments when people had to catch up in places.

Perhaps "Live In Verona" has spoiled me for a live performance, but the only saving grace here, were the backing singers !!

FJLIS sounded Horrible.... Paul Turner doesn´t seem to be a good basist ( not al least a jamiroquai kind bassist).... And please just fire the backing vocals and let Sola do his thing, "Yaooo" or his " I know what were dooing.... Travelling without moving" is just a millon times more cool than what these girls do
Then some songs endind were lik ea rehersal end they simply stop...

I think their performance is a very promising one, but they really need to rehersal a lot.....

Insist on this: kick the vocals out, let sola do his thing and bring the brass back babyy!!!!!

Edit:

Oh and by the way the recording..... I GO GO GO GO GO GO GOT IT Wink
