Dynamite: Abou's Review!
Oh my god! I'm totally amazed! Finally I could listen to the full album! It was a great day, we were a little bit more of people at Sony, and I could met funkynic there.
Graciela, our contact there was happy, she brought the video of Feels Just Like It Should in Betacam format, and we saw it, even when almost all of us have watched it before. Elizabeth, the other angel from Sony, told us there was a plan of delaying the release of the album until OCTOBER! in Latin America and USA, because of the massive releases this time of the year (Oasis, System Of A Down, Shakira Mad ...) but at least in Argentina it will be in stores on June 21st. Then she put the cd and the magic began...

Feels Just Like It Should: we jumped it, it's being played on radios, everybody knew it.
Dynamite: One of my favourites, this is one of the tracks that seems to be perfect for being played live, Jay is not singing so high, I can't imagine troubles with his voice with this tune. The vocoder is here too, but it was used more properly, it's not annoying. "Dynamite, you know that she's not mine, come on!"
Seven Days In Sunny June I think it’s not relevant, anybody can listen to the capital radio capture or the live version from Jay’s house.
Electric Mistress Same as 7 days...
Star Child This is a funky track, maybe it’s about an astronaut or something. I didn’t pay too much attention to the lyrics, but in some parts it says something about a “silver man”. I dig it.
Love Blind It starts as the typical foolish love song, then some electronic distortion, and an easy going track “You got me hanging of the street lights...”
Talulah This is the ballad of the album, I’m so happy it features some flutes, saxophone and it sounds just like a song from the earlier albums! A perfect song to listen while chilling with your other half. I think this track in particular could be in any of the past albums.
Give Hate A Chance My personal favorite! This is pure disco, great basslines, I hope you’ll like it too.
World That He Wants This song is basically about war, greed, dead soldiers and all that of what we’ve read a lot about. Piano and chords, very quiet, imagine a slow-motion video clip with shots of the cementaries and scenes from the victims of war.
Black Devil Car I talked about this track before. It goes with a cool rhythm, kinda rocky, with a lovely bass, a song for the roads (with a little break in the middle, sounds like a lullaby) Great Rob Harris here.
Hot Tequila Brown This one automatically transports me to the beach, talking about sunrise, and other stuff. Easy going
Beatbox I won’t talk about this one. You’ll be surprised.
Time Won’t Wait It wasn’t featured in the edition we heard.

Well, that was my review, hope you like it.

See you soon with some interesting stuff.

Abou...please tell me you didn't just say that Sony may delay the album release until October here in the States.

Thanks for the review, sounds like we're gonna get a great album...whenever the f-ck Sony decides to let it loose. Evil or Very Mad

Yeah...........Thank u very much for your personal review!
Everything sounds good!
I've always been positive about this album ( ....i remember when someone of u said: no, this 6th one will be not a success, 'll be too heavy, too rock....and bla bla bla....) and , now, it seems it runs seriously.
Excellent! Wink

you know, that would just be the bollocks to end all bollocks, considering this album was completed in February. but who knows, maybe it has something to do with the (pipe dreams) of a fall tour. thanks for posting the review Abou, though I'm going to try to resist reading it to keep the suspense going. good vibes to y'all and have a smooth weekend.

Delaying it like that just gives everyone in the states 4 months to download the album illegally.

If that's the case, then I'm buying the UK or Japan version...once I get a summer job and put money into my accounts. Rolling Eyes

buffaloman_B Hello, buffaloman_B

Confused Hmmm...October 2005....what the heck Confused . That must have been a intended joke or something from the lady, I mean, that is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to contemplate! I still think we will have the normal late June release, another release, especially a American one, would knock me overboard and cause alot of further hostility toward Sony/BMG (Not to mention my emotions would explode..literally!). If that imaginary thing DID happen, it was probably done to increase import purchases of a expensive UK or Japanese copy of Dynamite...still think it was a misplaced joke. Thanks for listening, Wink Excellent and through review Ale (Abou Moslem) thanks for sharing Wink and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
