US Confirmations & Delay RUMOUR...
Hello,
Ever hearing that comment from Abou's Dynamite review about the supposed Latin America/US delayed Dynamite release date, I have looked around on nearly a daily basis to see what all the American online stores say . I have checked the major electronic store chains here in the states (Circuit City & Best Buy) and they have NO sales listings for Dynamite. Amazon.com and other major chain stores (Including Barnes & Noble.com, Borders Music and others) online have NO sales listing for Dynamite. And the ONLY CD online store I have seen with one single confirmation is CDUniverse.com, and that was ONLY for the Import version. I'm starting to get a sinking feeling that this COULD MEAN a delayed release for the states, once I learn more, I will post further about this . Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

Hello there,
Yes, that is something I forgot to add. Cause there are important releases this time of the year, they plan on releasing Dynamite in October in the US. But you can always buy an imported copy of the album! I know here in Arg there are some special stores where you buy imported items.
By the way, MTV Argentina broadcast FJLIS video tomorrow for the first time, and MTV said they liked so much they plan on putting it 10 times a day!!

A delay is even more likely when you consider that they haven't lined up any kind of promotion in the US during the summer--they're going to be on tour through Europe. For AFO, they had a couple appearances in New York right before the release date. that album peaked at #74 in the US as I recall...
amazon.co.uk: $22 to US (with slow shipping) _________________ i left my funk in san francisco

apparently sony will delay the release of the album in all america due to the releases of big artist' albums at the same time, if this happens theres no doubt about the "catch USA market" _________________

We better see a GIANT promotion/marketing campaign out of all of this if Dynamite's gonna be released in October here! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. I can see what they're getting at with the other major releases at the same time, so why didn't they release it in early 2005? I also think that in many cases, System of a Down fans aren't going to be racking their brains to decide whether to buy 'Dynamite' or SOAD's 'Mesmerize'.
They're in two completely different genres, and no matter how 'big' the releases are, they are going to appeal to different sections of the market in the majority of cases.
October is a bit harsh for the release anyway, it means Jamiroquai will likely have to finish their touring of Europe, Japan and Australia all before then if they have any chance of promoting their album in the States before the release date comes. Added to that the numerous festval appearances and it becomes a very unlikely-looking circumstance indeed, especially with a full American tour in mind... _________________

yes I agree, wtf!?, latinos, we're so neglected!, dayem, well I'll have to wait till october to buy it as it's a tradition to buy all my jamiroquai album releases on the store I found them for the first time (yes a bit stupid but hey, it's a long time tradition!)
Btw, it can be true due to Sola's comments about touring in the US and México or latam later this year, he said december or early 2006! I mean, wtf!
..aahh I'm so getting it imported f_ck my "tradition" |
