Who's got the better fake covers???
Hello,
Now, now ...Funk Education & Martin McFly are pretty evenly matched in their "fake Jami covers" prowess in my view . I hope this doesn't spill over into a similar "JamiroFan2000 Vs. Diego" fake competition thread here on Talk . Both of your covers are AWESOME, now how about a "fake Jami Black Devil car 1st sinigle cover"..what do you graphically talented fans think? Good challenge? Thanks for sharing your cover Martin, very nice ! I look forward to both of your efforts in this challenge ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
The Peacemaker,

Damn, cool cover! I like it a lot! Now let's just hope the Dynamite name sticks!
I have an idea for one, it's kind of weird. It;s a wooden detonator with the Buffalo Man stamped into it with the fuse leading to a giant 3-D Buffalo Man. On the back, the 3-D one would be sort of frozen in explosion, still in that figure, but more fragmented. Inbetween the cracks would be the exploding light like in McFly's cover. Over on the side would be Jay grinning like a bastard with the plunger pushed down while the rest of the band would be crouched covering their heads. You could still see their faces though.
The only thing I don't like is that it could give the vibe that Jam was breaking up...of course we don't want that! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. I would not really like a competition...
I just made this cover because it was my first try with a 3D program and I thought the colours fit to the name "Dynamite" and to the song "Black Devils Car".
like a funk odyssey was blue, the new album has more brown, orange, black for me. And it's also a little similar to the last covers we had. (love foolosophy..."
Your idea sounds good, supersonic1, especially "Over on the side would be Jay grinning like a bastard ..." |

Hey dawg, don't worry-yours are cool, too.
If anything, these make me wish I was that talented with computers...the only art I can make is with a pencil and a sketchbook! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. old post... still no dynamite cover -at least not officially
@chilla
I used cinema4D
@mandy - I thought so too. seems as if it won't be like many people suspected
@supersonic - this would be a good cover for the new album. |
