Wow they're absolutely amazing, I can't wait to hear them in full. I was pretty depressed when I first heard FJLIS thinking the whole album would be like this, but these samples have completely turned it round for me; roll on June 20th.  |

Hello,
Finally I made it possible for everybody to download the samples, now i can take my time to give my opinion and little review on the samples!
1. FJLIS - It is growing on me. The live-versions make me starting to dig it.
2. Dynamite - The chorus isn't on this sample, but I like it. I have to hear this one more.
3. SDISJ - Excellent track. We already know this one.
4. Electric Mistress - It is growing on me too, like FJLIS. Nice track, fits in the album.
5. Star Child - One of my favourites, very very dancable. Nice bass.
6. Love Blind - I love this track! Unfortunately this is just a little part. I think this one is brilliant!
7. Talulah - A pearl. Need I say more?
8. Give Hate A Chance - Very good track, reminds me of 'Starlight' by the Supermen Lovers.
9. World He Wants - Don't know what to think about this.
10. Black Devil Car - It had changed a lot since the previous sample. I like it, but not that much.
11. Hot Tequila Brown - Great relaxing tune.
12. Time Won't Wait - Wow! Lucky Japanese people. An awesome track.
It is a great album. Very different tracks, I like that. 7 tracks I love by now, can't choose a best track out of those. And the album seems to be very funky.

Hehe...don't mind. It was a test for my site too. Wanted to see if that would work. I know rapidshare is faster By the way: did you record it by yourself? Which program did you use? Nice quality you have... i recorded it a little bit to loud (volume too high). Great job Tlum, thanks. |

The intro to the track 'Time Won't Wait' is VERY similar to the unreleased synkronized track where Jay is scatting in the the studio.
In addition to the rythm, there are three instrument at play here: the bongos, fender rhodes keyboard, and the way the guitar slides up the fretboard.
Anyone agree? |

I couldnt resist listening to these samples Thank you for sharing them
and oh boy is this gonna be one awesome record, I dont think its insane to say FJLIS is the worst track on there...
The title track sounds great,would love to hear the chorus still, SDISJ and EM i guess everyone had head already,both still sound terrific, Electric Mistress is such a grower
Starchild isnt one of my personal favourites, but I can see a lot of people liking this, very funky track
Love Blind - what can I say!!!! my favourite track already, that riff running through ir is irresistable. Give Hate A Chance is also very strong - I agree with Jeroen with the Supermen Lovers 'Starlight' similarity
Talulah sounds straight out of EOPE! Lovely, moving, emtoional track
Time Wont Wait still needs to grow on me, similar to Starchild i like it but not love it, yet - World That He Wants is  i dont know what to say about it... Indifferent to Hot Tequila Brown too
Love Blind is my favourite track so far, overall a very great album, based on only samples,the finished album is going to be awesome!! |
