Re: Final Jamirotalk prices for these items

perhaps something pretty amazing too. A one off item as far as I know. It's shiny. It'll cost an arm and a leg. |
And, there, was Symphonized !
I have a question though... How do you differentiate Euro & Jap pressings of Jazziroquai ? Didn't know there had been a repress. |

Sadly no Symphonized in my possession.
The French Jazziroquai is from 1998. The Japanese is from 2004.
You can easily tell the difference just looking on the jewel case itself and the print quality of the front and back covers. The actual insert is different too. The Japanese one is like a simple version of the original one.
The biggest tell though... nobody can pass this second version as a first version even if they managed to create perfect copies of the cover.

Oh, OK, there is indeed a "slight" difference!
I didn't know that Japanese version.
I always loved the attention to details (minus Just Abother Story!) on Jazziroquai. Probably the most beautiful Jamiroquai bootleg, both for the eyes and the ears ! |

The rule is: If you see a Jazziroquai for sale, without proper photos of the actual item. It will be the Japanese 2nd pressing... at best.
Like this one: https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/848878
For hundred bucks you're not getting the French one. May not even be the Japanese one either... could be some Chinese copy. You never know these days lol. _________________ Old school forever! |
