Feels just like it was out to soon
hi all,
do any of you agree with me that FJLIS was released unofficially eg on the radio and downloads too early, so when its released on monday not as many ppl will go out and buy the song becasue everyone has heard of it, and most ppl i know are getting bored of it now as it on the radio shows too much
i not to sure witht he point but what do you all think, i still love the track but i a die hard jami fan and it will never fade on me but for the average joe i dont know?

I made an interesting experience with "non Jamiroquai" fans.
I played FJLIS to many people, people that are normally not into the Jamiroquai stuff and that are not in internet and have anything to do with predownloads and things like that.
The song hit them instantly!!!! Most of them asked me when the single could be officially bought. And if someone buys a single he likes, he mostly checks out the album later, if he likes it too!
So FJLIS might do a good job to create new fans. I think that's the main reason why this track is released first. _________________

i did the same with my friends, but they know jamiroquai, they're not fans but most of them like it quite much, most of them have cataloged the song as "extrange" but cool, and they all like seven days in sunny june.
about the singles, here's not so normal to buy singles from any artist or band, people only buy the album (if they do) _________________

Although I don't think the early release will have an effect at the selling-rates, somewhere I must agree with Andy. I still can't wait for the album-release, but it isn't that surprising anymore...
Who can imagine a greater feeling having a brand new Jamiroquai-album in your hands, not knowing which track are on it and then put it in your CD-player at full volume?
On the other hand it's cool knowing (thanks to the samples) that the upcoming album will be great! _________________

I think it's being released at just about the right time. The band have just promoted the song on some important UK TV shows, and suddenly people are eager to own it. _________________

i agree with you Monisum... it's a nice way to attract new fans... at last it's only one song and the other ones a great! _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
