The Verdict in the Jackson Case...

buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Just a note, The jury, which has been deliberating for 7 days has come to a verdict in the Michael Jackson Child Molestation case. Yahoo News says the judge will announce the verdict in 15 minutes (PDT). I might not be online when it is announced, so if someone can watch for it. Thanks and let's hope he's found innocent of all charges. Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Yes, I feel very sorry for him, I don't think he's guilty Sad Good luck Michael!

Just went to several right-wing and conservative blogs...they are going down in flames right now over this.

As for me, I'm completely stunned. And relieved.

Im happy ...i think that really he is just that naive and slightly delusional ..anyone that had fame that young and that long could...he's a good guy just a lil confused and detached from the rest of society....I think he really isolated himself... and this is what resulted out of it. hopefully he finds better people to surround himself with...and take more inicitive to remove or fire toxic people in his life like his publicist ..(which by the way Mesereau did himself)

Anyone on this forum, or anyone in the general public, can't really have a well constructed and solid answer on whether Michael is in fact guilty or innocent.
We didn't see the evidences, didn't see most of the witnesses talking, the cross examinations so we can only judge whether we feel (that's the right word, it's an assumption, a gut instinct, not a founded answer) Michael is innocent or guilty.

Everyone's entitled to feel either way and have an opinion but we have to remember that a person is innocent until proved otherwise. So the accusation flopped and Michael is declared innocent. After all appeals are burned we can say Michael is really innocent. That's our system and that's the right one.
The time of burning witches because someone screamed they are one is gone (thank God) but in the general public eye that way of thought has not completely vanished.
Like Jay88 said "better that a guilty man should go free than an innocent man go to jail". I totally agree with you!

Our way of thinking should be always "In dubio pro reo" like its consagrated in every major law system, which means that when the law applier has doubts if the accused committed the crime he should be acquited.

So Evov, I don't really agree with you when you say "ohhh lord,USA is turning in to Portugal justice, where the bad guys walk on the streets, and the inocent go to jail!" - the portuguese system isn't perfect, as any other judicial system, it's slow(it's biggest problem) and lives with the flaws of human individuals, like in any other country. But criminals do not get away that easily and luckily the judicial and executive powers are separated and can't really influence one another. Portugal in comparison to Italy has a better system in some ways ( we don't have judges in need of bodyguards cause they might get shot anytime - that's fear influencing decisions; we don't have organized crime as big as the Mafia) and in terms of England where judicial and executive are not completely separated we can see corruption climbing an easier and more silent way.

Peace and funk

my god... that was the most negative post never posted here in all the existance of jamirotalk...
i believed from the first moment that Michael wasn't guilty... i knew it... this man did great things for the world... a person can't change like that (maybe i'm wrong)...
all the thing was money, MONEY.... the same happened to kobe bryant... and look... the same happened... he wasn't guilty...
now he has to re-make his career, but this last one is a very difficult job for him... actually he's 46 and... his career is in the floor...

no more things to say... bye guys!

this case was soooo fricken sus it wasnt funny... look at all the shit that happend to people in this case! like so many people who went to the hospital due to "incidents"

this case musta had the most amount of "incidents" in it ever... it was always being put off... jackson was freaking becoz he knew he was gonna get caught so he called upon his guards to "get help out" and stop the testimonies....

cant believe he is found innocent!

and Edgar if u think that is the most negative post ever on JamiroTalk ... put urself in my place when i was reading ur first reviews on FJLIS and u talking about how shit all the recent albums have been and how jamiroquai are becomming shittier and shitter....

Evov wasnt being negative... U were!
