Starchild : return of the dream sound!!!!
Starchild, the most magical song i've heard in my life,
has super cool funky Hohner clavinet bass line played by Matt Johnson!!!
lets celebrate return of HOHNER clav sound in jamiroquai sound!!
nothing can be more funky!!!!!!!!! thank you very much dear Matt!!!!
Rob's sound and ideas in this track are genious as well!!!
and i will never stop to repeat Jay is genious!!!!

my fav track from dynamite so far! i love it, i wish to see a video from it, i already can imagine it, i still miss the lyrics but it could start with the starchild (new human evolution, a superman) of a space odyssey and evovle to jay flying around in the space, then start meeting the bandmemebers in different ways... _________________

Very nice this Hohner keyboard. But what in heaven's name happened to the Mini Moog I liked so much on the early albums? |

Starchild is my favourite song on the album so far aswell! I'm loving it and I really hope they release it as a single! I'm sure the video would be very funky!

Hello,
Ah yes, "Star Child" one of the new songs that makes you think about things...haven't seen a Jami song this good in some time . And you know, after jotting down the lyrics to it, don't you all think that "Star Child" definitely is discussing the marketing of God and religion in general? We haven't seen a Jami song that discussed faith since "Soul Education" on Syn, and is quite refreshing to see JK filtering out the bollocks that have festered it. THanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

High Times, this is the third topic that I read from you that comments on a song that I adore from the album.... Are you reading my mind? Have you started a thread on 'seven days in sunny june'? That alongside DGHAChance, EMistress and SChild are my favourite tracks from the album.
What can I add? Starchild is an extremely well-crafted song (like someone mentioned) and unbelievably catchy. |

Yes, the live version is very good. I have it too. A brilliant song, there's no question about it. |
