STARCHILD, DONT GIVE, DYNAMITE - ONE & THE SAME BASSIST?
hi guys Wink

You can kill me but i think

there's ONE & THE SAME BASS PLAYER WHO PLAYED IN STARCHILD, DYNAMITE, DONT GIVE HATE A CHANCE,.. the same approch, sound , crazy ideas and technique, outstanding sence of style... for me he is the best disco bassist in the world! maybe he played in some more songs
on DYNAMITE!!!

I want to do one thing - fly to London and shake his hand.
and thank him!! i think this man is the best!!!! i am his fan!!!
i am in love with his style and sound, he is my hero!!!!

for me he is equal to Stu!!!!

i may be wrong but his sound is very close to FENDER JAZZ BASS

JAZZ BASS:

btw roy ayers bassist , ERROL LOUIS from "ROY AYERS RONNIE SCOTT 1988" DVD
plays Jazz bass and on official forums guys said one of Roy Ayers bassists played on Dynamite..

this is his jazz bass:

actually i dont think its him playing on new album, but thought you might like the pics from the show!! Very Happy

The bassline in (Don't) Give Hate A Chance is godlike. I set it on repeat and listened to it for an hour. Whoever did that, is a God among Mortals.

yes, the verse part of bass line can be played only by guy equal to Stu...
its impossible for usual bassists to play such difficult and at the same time beautiful way..
he does it so easily with coolest crazy tricks as its usual thing for him to play that cool... he is the most crazy coolest disco bass player i've heard in my life!!!!
sometimes i dont believe its alive man playing those outstanding basslines.. too perfect...

You sure it is a jazz bass?
Sounds way to present to me to be a jazz bass. I think it may be a musicman stingray.

it is musicman stingray!!!
the thing is i posted this topic on 6th june i had the album in mp3
and listened to it on small computer speakers so i couldnt hear the
character of the sound in proper way,
but when i played it on my big speakers i understood
that it can be only a Music Man!!!!
