The Simpsons Movie
Hello Jamirotalkers,
The movie for The Simpsons is in production and is set for release in 2008.
I wonder if this is a good idea... what do you think????

if it's like the old episodes is the best idea in the world (i'm a big fan of the simpsons, I can tell most of the converstaion on episodes)
if it's like the last 2 sessions ones is just a commercial shit (i hate them, can't see them)

I don't think its a good idea... jamirokaki is right the new episodes are crap, with one or two exceptions
The old ones were witty and intelligent, these days they are just bizarre
However i did really enjoy the new episode where Homer buys the 60s ambulance 
high-larious |

Ummm well considering this movie will cap of the series! i think mebe becoz it wont do any harm to series itself becoz it will be the finale forever.... matt groening has been talking/planning this out for a while... and it WILL be sad to watch the simpsons finally end  |

I agree with the earlier seasons bein "Dynamite", but the last few seasons bein not too good. I don't watch the show anymore actually, partly because I work when it's on and also because the quality of the episodes is way down. I used to have every line from every episode pretty much memorized, but I don't care enough anymore.
As for the movie, I heard the same as Catman, that the movie will be released when the show is over for good. I think the movie could be very good, or just as crappy as some of the last few seasons. Lets keep our fingers crossed that it goes out on the right note by bein good.
