SDISJ 2nd Single Release Rumour: Mid to Late Aug. 2005!
Hello,
I got the chance to talk briefly about the upcoming Jamiroquai releases with my American Sony/BMG Representative . Here's what I was little to converse with him about -
- Dynamite American Territories Delay: They are planning a big promotional blitz for Dynamite in the states, still unsure when in "Autumn 2005" it will be released, but Oct. 2005 is possible
- SDISJ 2nd Single release: He was surprised I knew about this, and commented that it would have a UK/Aussie release sometime in mid to late August 2005, but not confirmed till late July 2005.
There you go, I'll hopefully talk to him again soon when his schedule is less hectic. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Thanks for the awesome news! Can't wait to see the Buffalo Man flying around my TV screen come the fall. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. (Although I haven't looked at the COTE single... what did they do with that one? I guess it would be similar) |

well, there are already 2 versions of the song, and a live version, i guess the single will have a radio edit, could have an extended or an accoustic, also theres a good place for bsides and unreleased tracks
beings the second single, and knowing that dynamite will sell very well, maybe theres more dj's who remix feels just like it should and they put it on the single (2 remixes of this song is not so much, and it's strange)
about the COTE single, it had some live stuff like bad girls and titan and also remixes of main vein, but it was an extrange release because they had at the same time so much different promos of different songs (feel so good, main vein,do it like we used to do...they wanted to release everything)
but there are also remixes of COTE wich are great, acoustic remixes and acoustic-house remixes, i think the same thing could be done with 7 days.
also look at you give me somethnig, a song with a near vibe to this one and it has do many and different remixes _________________

Can anyone explain me this? Why does it take so long for the "Dynamite" album to be released in the U.S.? Will there be any extras on it, or what? |

I was thinking more of an early September release for SDISJ, which would fit in nicely with the UK tour dates around that time. There was a 3 month gap between Little L and YGMS as well.
If it comes out about the same time as the tour, then I'll get a nice big postcard to add to my collection like I did with the Love Foolosophy one last time!
I thought that 'Starchild' would be the next single though, probably just because of the CD:UK performance. Can't wait to see whats on the SDISJ single _________________
