Is Jay an Alcoholic ?
From the latest informations i´ve heard and the latest pics I saw
I think Jay has a serius alcohol problem.
I hardly see any pics of him without a drink in his hand,
he has mood swings, remember the blond interview(beer bottles etc.)
the photos of the chris moyles show, look at his skin, his eyes.
I feel very sorry for that, he seems like a broken man now.
What do you think? joshua. |

Okay Jamirokaki, I know what you mean. When i´m going to a club
i always get drunk and stoned. When I make some lunch for some friends
I always drink a lot of wine. Sometimes I also think about having a serious
alcohol problem, so I can relate to him(Jay). Look, if you lived alone in
the wilderness, as a very sad person(he definitely is), hardly any good
friends, you have your own pub, don´t have to worry about money,
what would you do? I remember, when I first thought about him being addicted to alcohol. In an interview of a german magazine a reporter
asked him, what his favorite drink was and he replied: beer, always beer.
I drink it every day, also in the morning. Maybe it was a joke. I dunno
On the other hand, I have a good friend in London, who smokes about 40
cigarrettes a day and empties one w.red bull after the next( when i spend a weekend clubbing around with him, i´m ill afterwards), he´s almost 40
but he can deal with it. To get to an end, if this life made jay happy, it
would be ok, but nowadys he looks very sick |

Just a few thoughts about that topic and what was said before.
First: I don't think Jay looks so sick. He has his bad and good days like we all. Some pics show him tired and on some pics he still looks great. Well he has some wrinkles (which I think can be charming too)...so what, he his not 20 anymore.
Second: His life surely left it's traces in his face. Long party nights...exhausting tours...a cocain addiction starting in his mid twentieth, lots of cheeba before that time until now, magic mushrooms, other psychedelic drugs and surely alcohol too. I think he especially needs a drink now as replacement for cocaine. He can not do for long time without any additional kick.
Third: Dealing with the public life is not easy. Although some will say...oh he is joking around all the times...having lots of fun, so much money and girls whenever he wants...Yeah he surely enjoys the good sides of life. But I think he is private a very introverted person too. He has these both sides in him, the calm one and the wild one. But in public he always has to be like people expect him to be, wild, crazy, funny, optimistic about his projects. The pressure is even getting harder now in promotion times for an new album...Can you imagine Jay in an interview with just sitting calm around, smiling only and saying yes and no? Me not. I don't think he actually plays a role like an actor in the public, he is as he is, but pushing on the promotion, being always in a good and funny mood, always looking fresh and young...that is surely not easy. And he needs to have some kind of drug, some kind of kick, that makes him feel free, to the Jay Kay, everyone expects.
I remember too, that he said in older interviews that this role of being always funny and joking came out of his childhood, when he travelled around with his Mum, never staying long anywhere, always changes of schools and neighbourhood. So he took on the funny role for not always being punched up as the new and small guy by his new classmates.
I am just hoping for him, that the momentary and future stress of the album promotion and tour let him not fall back into his old cocaine habit. Thumbs up for him to stay on the good road of life
This should be no excuse for taking drugs or drinking too much, but I think he have to look at the whole picture, not only the moment. _________________

yeh, if he is drinking, but at the same time he's dancing and eating, he can't get drunk easily... and more him that his body has so much resistance for alcohol... hhehe i'm an alcoholic... hhehe, nah but it's different, i drink a lot but one time every three months... so.. it's really different.. _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

I apologize, my english is horrible.
I'm definitely agree with monisum, despite I tink people who's a star and who lives in a fashion world never really give up drugs. An example is Elton John or Robbie Williams. Exclusive partys have this bad thing, and may be is better live in a human way, like everyone of us |
