Jamiroquai in Genova
Hello everybody,
Some time ago I posted something for help to get some tickets... well.. 2 days ago I was at the gig in Genua / Italy and it was brilliant!!!
They began with Canned Heat (no intro of Electric Mistress) and then there was a cool version of Space Cowboy (like they did at sunderland, not aol). After this song I don't know the exact tracklist anymore.
There was a restaurant next to the "Arena del Mare" and we said we wanted to eat there (to be quicker at the Arena) and we were allowed to eat there! Nobody was eating there... except... The band! While we were eating the band (without JK!!!) came to eat something but they were not seated next to us but above us at another floor.. However, I saw everybody walking just in front of me...
We had perfect places (all the way in the front) so I made some cool pictures My father isn't a party animal so he made that first picture that you can see (however he did like it)
Oh by the way, Jamiroquai was performing on the day I became uncle of "Lusanne Jolie". I was there with a friend of mine and my father (he became grandpa, at 51 years )

Electric Mistress, Dynamite the end of Corner of the Earth (Music of the Mind) and especially Travelling Without Moving (!!!) were the best songs!! Really cool those songs... So yes, the dynamite songs are very good!!! They Played Seven Days too, it was very cool too (of course) but no special stuff like almost all other songs!!!
Jay Kay was sometimes VERY angry at the people of the sound, don't know exactly why but I think he couldn't hear himself singing that good or so... When he sang High Times he gave hints like "these aren't high times if you are going on like that" (he didn't say it but it was clear if you looked at his hand gestures), the same for Emergency on Planet Earth, he said it still is thanks to Bush and again he indicated to the sound guys...
But he sang very nice, there was no problem for me!!!
I met some really nice people, specially one guy, we talked quite a lot. It was cool to talk with an Italien Jamiroquai fan. My father went a bit away to get some rest and so the Italien Guy was very gratefull, now he could see more because we are quite large:D That's the reason why some people were mad at me but Hey, I can't help it . Btw, some other guy had a Buffalo Tattoo, very cool! However I would't take one.
After all it was one of the best days in my life
7 oct. I am going again to Rotterdam to see the band... It's really worth it!
