ASPEN CLASSIC official website featuring JMQ on July
Hello Jamirotalkers,

Good news for latin american fans! As my fellow moderator and friend Abou told, the FM radio station Aspen Classis features Jamiroquai as the artist of the month, with specials everyday and on Sundays. I'm going to record all 4 specials from Sundays which are 2 or 3 hours long, I don't know exactly. And I'll try to upload them cause they will play unreleased stuff and concerts.

Here's the link to the page with a cool image of a can with the buffalo man on it, with sunglasses and headphones. The same pic is on every newspaper from today and also is on the Rolling Stone magazine:
http://www.fmaspen.com/home_jamiro.htm

Just passing this information and a contest to win Jamiroquai stuff (including vinyls and a trip to see them) is on the page too.

i couldn't believe it! Very HappyVery Happy
i already have the cool pic hanging in my room!!

i've just recorded like half an hour of it ... i ran out of cassettes (yes, pretty 'old-fashioned', i know Embarassed )
Anyways, the special is great so far.... so remember jamirotalkers: every sunday (9 pm in argentina)

for those who have cablevision, last week i watched a jamioroquai special, actually it was the dvd Live in Verona which i had never seen until last week Very Happy. i loved it AND recorded it. well, i don't know if anybody watched because i wanted to know if they showed all the dvd or just a few songs... well just let me know if anybody knows sth about that, thanks!

ok bye!

Pequeño detalle
Todo muy lindo, Jamiroquai es el artista del mes en Aspen. Lo único que no me termina de convencer es la pronunciación de mierda del locutor. Dice cualquier cosa! Yo le recomendaría un curso intensivo ´para hablar mejor inglés YA MISMO Evil or Very Mad

Saludos
Noe

Yeah, keep it in english people Wink

jgrizz, they are saying that the guy that hosts the special doesn't pronounce very good english words ('Jeimireoquei' Laughing ). Still, the specials have some difficult lives to find for not so fans, and it has very precise information. Tonight's the 4th chapter.

Me estás cargando no? Seguir escribiendo en español? Hay algunas cosas que en la traducción pierden significado. Asi que lo lamento, pero expresiones como "pronuncia inglés como el culo" son BIEN ARGENTAS.

Translation: You're joking right? keep it in English? there are some things that in traslation miss the meaning. So, I'm sorry, but expressions like "pronuncia inglés como el culo" is VERY ARGIE.

Besos a todos...oops!! kisses to all Razz
Noe

pd: y además sigo pensando lo mismo acerca del locutor....

Hello Jamirotalkers

Yesterday someone 'corrected' him and started saying 'Jamiroquai' correctly. He also mentioned jamirotalk.net as one of the fan sites to check -don't know who passed this information-. The 4th chapter was about Synkronized and AFO (until YGMS), on the last chapter 'Dynamite' will be played track by track.

I wrote an e-mail telling this guy that the specials are being recorded and shared, and asked for a mention to jamirotalk.net Very Happy
I know a lot of people who wrote to correct this guy when he was saying "Jamiroqüei".
I didn't like this special too much, but at least finally I could know who was this mysterious guitarist on that Canned Heat video played in Japan.
