Statement about aussie thread and gay discussions
Sorry, dear Aussies...I had to remove the aussie pride thread because it got out of hand. I will not clean the topic - it's too much work.
Actually we had an internal agreement that we would not edit and moderate that specific topic in order to leave you a space to mock around in a funny and not serious way, but with the latest discussion about gays it got really out of hand and things have been said that are really inrespectfull towards all gay people. I will not tollerate such comments at jamirotalk because I absolutely support the equality of gays, tollerance and respect.
As we had problems about this sensitive theme in the past here at some discussions, I want to appeal you all to avoid any discussions about gay issues in the future. This is always getting offending and abusive after a while and I don't want my friends and other members being insulted.
Don't provoke any further discussions like that. Discuss this in other forums or just let it be. This is a Jamiroquai forum and jamiroquai for me stands for respect, tollerance and being open-minded. So keep this in mind when you start a discussion about people who are different.
If you want, open a new topic about Australia. But take care to keep it respectfull and on topic, please.
I will contact affected and involved people in private in the next time.
