i found something on tallulah that i find is spectacular and i love this little things so much, its an instrument effect:

i think Talullah is sort of the saviour for fans who dig the old jamiroquai stuff like me....the only song that make me hook on Dynamite is Talullah...if there are few more songs like Talullah in Dynamite, i definitely rank it better than Synkronized and AFO..and maybe in the same class as the legend 3 first album _________________ Selamat Pagi Dunia |

i think Talullah is 100% instrument-based song...no sampler, eletronica stuff whatsoever...
bout the effect...seriously i only pay much attention on the bassline...the wind and brass sounds also perfect..
Randy Hope Taylor(Incognito bassist) hitted the perfect notes in Talullah...i'm glad he's the one anchoring the bassline for Talullah _________________ Selamat Pagi Dunia |

I don't know if this effect exist or not, but I'm agree with muzzander, I think Tallulah is an excellent song, very similar to old and typical songs from their 2 first CD, like Music of the Mind, Mr Moon or (maybe) like falling (synkronized) |

i just pumped it up full blast on my sennheisers and the soprano sax hits a descending string of notes with the backing vocalists saying Talulah...the part is still hot, but i don't think the instrumentation spells out Talulah. |

All I can hear is the backing vocals singing "talullah", some kind of clarinet or sax, the chords, the drums and the bass _________________

Tallulah reminds me of the old jamiroquai, the old romantic tunes like half the man, blow your mind and everyday etc. a brilliant addition to a brillliant album. i believe jamiroquai have always been on top form. i think they are aiming to have a wider variety this time, because they are also playing a huge variety of songs live this year, old and new. is there anything they cant do???
