New Music Offerings (Summer/Early Fall)!!
Hello,
As I have done in past periodic posts, I would to highlight some new musical offerings that are out OR are in the process of coming out soon I think are really good and hopefully my fellow fans will also dig . Here they are:
*AVAILABLE NOW*
ARTIST: Maximo Park
ALBUM: A Certain Trigger
I pretty much discovered this Brit "Nerd Rock" on a NME CD sampler, very very infectious they have. If you like Franz Ferdinand and The Killers, you will dig Maximo Park!
KEY TRACKS: Apply Some Pressure, Going Missing & Postcard Of A Painting
WEBSITE: http://www.maximopark.com/maximopark/
ARTIST: The Magic Numbers
ALBUM: Self-Titled
Ditto on same way of discovery, I have grown a warm heart for them. "Kings of Leon" sensibilities with husky "hippie" rock, very "quiet", very "Poignant", and causes great "silent headbangs"! Check them out, so far my pick for "Best New Artist of 2005"!
KEY TRACKS: Forever Lost, Mornings Eleven, Long Legs & Try

*COMING SOON*
ARTIST: Supergrass
ALBUM: Road To Rouen
Another one of those "babes of the Brit Music Invasion of 1992", they have grown musically but still have the boyish charms of a young band. Supergrass will be going a new musical and more grownup direction with their new album. Definitely a "must hear"!

ARTIST: Elbow
ALBUM: Leaders Of the Free World
More lofty atmos brit rock from the "happy cousins" the brother band "The Doves". This time, the have probably produced their best album to date, they are the "New Verve". Richard Ashcroft, take notice!

ARTIST: Sigur Ros
ALBUM: TAKK
Always innovative, those Icelandic lads whom songs chime with their native language, but is cushioned by beautiful music are back. Their highly anticipated new album is sure to amaze and stun as it flows by slowly like a glinting iceberg.

There you go, I hope you all enjoy this new music inbetween continuous listens of Dynamite...hehe! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
