i made an afo hat in 2001, it was really cool, it was the black one, but i carried it to madrid for the festimad concert and it didn't survive the travel, so i couldn't wear for the concert, i never took any pic of it, i only have one taken by a friend there in festimad, when it was already broken, but the pic she send me was a low quality one, i'm still wainting for a high quality one (for 3 years now)
someday i will remake it.... _________________

Nice Topic!
I got crazy with the hats, so I looked at my city for some time until I caught some artisan who make them.
I got by now 2 hats, the one is on my avatar and this is my last hat made by that man. I think in blow your mind when I've ordered
Hey, Jamirokaki, let's put some pic of your hat man!
Cheers, Nicolas. _________________ I'm slidin' down the wall

Not in the mood to write much, here's mine as seen by Mouse, Bear, MsP, Little H and Jamirocat,
Now with a darker finish like the Dynamite hat. Might make a 2nd one and keep it in the AFO way. _________________ By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II - Now legally Licenced to navigate the Public Highways again.

serge, those who don't have an account on imagestation can't see your pictures. great hat by the way!
I had a great idea. Knowing that the new hat is made in carbon fibre, this can be awesome to use in hat making

p.s. I think the pictures are fake, actually taken from real carbon fibre parts, but maybe the effect is near. _________________

Hi there!
My last AFO hat was great by front, but if you see it on the back you see all the tricks that make it work as the real one!
I'm considering using aluminum, although I don't know how much it'll cost. It may look like the AFO hat, but maybe painting it of black or grey may look like the Dyna hat.
I have to see how much does the feathers cost too

Doesn't aluminium have to be moulded? Or is there another way to do it...? _________________ By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II - Now legally Licenced to navigate the Public Highways again.

Yeah, I think you can buy different pieces by milimetres. More thin, you can model whatever you want. I know art places where I think you can buy those, I have to ask.
I found the old AFO Hat topic by the way:
