Pre-nuptial agreements
hello fellow funksters.
my overdemanding brain kicked in while surfing the "Jay Kay" part of this forum regarding the attitude of marriage, and i was wondering what you guys think of pre-nuptial agreements.
for those lest informed, a pre-nuptial agreement is a "contract" signed between an engaged couple stating who gets what (or what they can't have) if the upcoming marriage is dissolved. so if i marry craKing and i own a house before the marriage, i can say in the "pre-nup" that if we divorce, i will still keep my house.
IMO, i think it is hard to state: only the really good and the really bad fiances would not want to sign one of these.
opinions and comments please....
Peter. |

Some months ago i read that in Great Britain the premarital contracts are depolulating: so spread to push an association of lawyers to ask that they come recognized legally.
The past month, Divorce- online, a British internet site specialized in divorces, announced a development of the premarital sales of contracts of 177% in the nine firsts months of 2003!!!
In Italy the premarital contracts are worthless; the marriage is a step extremely important for a man and a woman.
Those who choose for the marriage are conscious of the fact that they are about to squeeze an immensely connection, something that it will unite them (or at least it should unite) for the rest of their life.
About me, premarital contracts mean low morality: wot a great sadness!
It is lacking little to present also the certificate of healthy and strong constitution

What??
Do you mean
"Why are you asking about craKing, when there is a perfectly good argument in this thread?" |
