Seven days in sunny june Promo CD Maxi tracklist !
Hi everybody!
Look what I've just found with Soulseek :
It's supose to be the "Seven days in sunny june Promo CD Maxi"
And the mp3 tracks (that I couldn't download because they were remotley queued) are the following:
01. Seven days in sunny june (Steve Mac Classic Mix)
02. Seven days in sunny june (I Think I Love My 303 Dub)
03. Seven days in sunny june (Ashley Beedle Club Mix)
04. Seven days in sunny june (Ashley Beedle Dub)
06. Seven days in sunny june (Kraak and Smaak Mix)
So, this are 5 tracks. But the last track is the Sixth (06). Maybe there are 6 tracks in the CD Maxi. Wow
The strange thing is that there's no "album version" or "edit" song in it.
Well, that's all.

I hope the version on the single is the one played on Capital FM before Dynamite was out - the end is much better than the album cut. |

I hope that too, maybe it's released as a "extended version", because is 4:30 aprox... too long for single.
Now I remember the longer Seven Days In Sunny June" was in the Dynamite sampler, togheter with the longer Dynamite track; maybe the longer Dynamite track has an intro as when it's played live
But we don't know it yet.

I like the way it unites the end of SDISJ with EM.
Wow 7 remixes! Some of them must be good, I hope. Although like we talked in another thread, is gonna be hard to top the original songs.
Thanks for that info

Hello,
7 Remixes ! Doesn't Sony and JK think that's a little excessive for this "Should have been the 1st single in the first place" 2nd single Seven Days? I mean, I have heard the "Steve Mac remix" of SD, and thought, "Oh ok, it IS indeed a remixable song!". Then this news did nothing but flare my eyebrows so high that I look like I have a black catepillar on my forehead...hehe. Well, if this is what JK wants, to leave the reins of B-Sides powers in the "Not always capable hands" of DJs, then so be it, doesn't mean I will like what I hear, even if it turns out like a miracle and not a foibled mess like "Timo Maas" remixes. Nevertheless, thanks for that info Gonza, much appreciated ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
P.S. There's a Mixes Promo CD for Seven Days for sale on Ebay now, sorry no pictures, anyway, here's a link to it's auction listing :

Yeah that is nice, but the longer version looped the guitar by Rob a few more times, just sounded better when stretched out.... I think it only does that bit 3 times on the album.
I'd love to hear a longer version of Dynamite too! |

The longer version of "Seven Days" isn't very "interesting", as well as the longer version of "Dynamite"... The end of the track is the same, but it lasts 40sec. more ("Dynamite... Dynamite... Dynamite...").
On this famous 5 tracks sampler of Dynamite, there's also a different ending for "Don't Give Hate a Chance" (I mean : no back singers on the end, just a fade-out outro), and the "first" version of "FJLIS", with the different break in the middle ("I'm on the phone..." doesn't sound like "Deeper Underground"). _________________ Max. |

Have you got it?
I just played again the Capital FM SDISJ and EM and they sound so much better than the album versions. Just the beefed up tempo of each song does it for me. I'd love to hear the ripped Sampler songs. |

I hope that the remixes are better than those of Feels Just Like It Should. With 6 versions, there's bound to be some real dogs amongst them !!
The square wave bass sound in the album version of Seven Days could already be a TB303, though more likely an approximation from Matts Alesis Andromeda. |

Yes, I'm one of those 500 (??) lucky bast***d who got this famous sampler... But I'm sorry, 'cause I can't ripp it, 'cause it's really an overprotected CD, numbered, doesn't play on PC... I don't want to take risks... But be sure that's these are not very interesting versions... Sorry guys... _________________ Max. |
