Alternate synk cover and some rare promos
I was doing some search and I found a couple weird things, maybe u guys know about these:
I found a cd promo for mein vein and feel so good, the latter sounds familiar, still i had never seen it any ino anyone got?
I also found what I reckon is an early cover of synkronized but I remember seeing it ages ago, dunno but if anyone knows any info will be appreciated.
This is the alternate synk cover, sorry for the small file, it was found like that at barnesandnoble.com

A promo for Main Vein is surely pretty normal, since it was released on vinyl a bit confusingly...
The Feels so Good one is strange, but I love the colour!
I've never seen that cover for Synkronized before, I'd be interested to find out more about it though

i own that feel so good promo, and seen the main vein one on the net lot of times, i still dind't had the opportunity to get it.
i kne that cover of synkroinzed, i alwys loved it, it hink it was released in any country, as a rpmo or something, i trully believe it was available in any release, but didn't see it anywhere since 99 news......

The first photo is an "aternate" Synkronized cover, that was due to release in US, but finally, it never did... So it's nothing...
The second one is a "Main Vein" 12" cover (promo for the UK). "Main Vein"had never been release as a single (no maxi CD available in shops), but as promo for DJ & radios (especially in UK & Australia).
The Third one is a "Feel So Good" UK promo 12", as "Main Vein" never released in shops. It contains the excellent Knee Deep remixes of the song, one of them will be available on the "Feels Just Like It Should" CD.
Those 2 12" are quiet easily findable, especially on eBay, and both remixes (of Main Vein & Feel So Good) are really good
Check the Funkin "Music" section for more information about Jamiroquai releases.

Hi Funkyvibes,
I did search in my mind for some minutes before remembering the following photo had been published before we got the official cover. Several stores displayed that.
This probably what was referred to in the original post.
The image was later re-used for the Mexican promo of King for a Day (the picture above is actually a scan of that KFAD promo - courtesy of Funkin'!).
(but I'm just picking that up from memories 14 years ago, so I could be wrong !)
[EDIT :] Now that I come to think of it, I think the picture was different and that Jay was holding a buffalo man between his fingers, something like that... But it was a b&w photo, probably from the same shoot[/EDIT] |
