Need help about info of the songs!
Hello Jamirotalkers,

I need your help on this, maybe Jamirokaki, High Times, or other member of the site that may know about this. I made a list with the songs from each album and tried to put in each one all the information available regarding the recording, the songwritting and even who played what in each song. Here's what I got so far. For example, I would like to know where was EOPE recorded; if TROTSC was actually recorded where it says in the booklet; where are the backing singers in 'Synkronized'??; in which songs DJ D-Zire appears, etc etc etc. Please, is for a special thing I'm preparing.

buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Wink Yep, it's me, by the way, lovely assembling of Jami Linear notes Brother D, certainly made me slide my eyelids real halfset Wink! "Mr. X"...hmmm...I don't think that would be good, sounds more like a James Bond villain name than a disregarding of Stu's "little" contribution to Syn. Oh well, a nice read, thanks again D and thanks for listening! Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

ok ok...it's a quite hard thing to know wich of the 3 guitar players is on each song of emergency on planet earth, i think the best way to know is with the booklet of the singles and not with the albums, so i will check them when i'm back at home and with some free time.
the didgeridoo thing is obvious that must only appear in when you gonna learn and didgin' out from the first album, and the vocals and vacking vocals things must be edited too.
as we know the only bass not played by stu on eope was when you gonna learn.
the surname of maurizio is ravalico.

on second album the drums on the kids were played by nick van gelder, and we must check the other players as it was recorded earlier that the album tracks, it was a late eope song.
about the bassplayer on space cowboy is a big mistery...i thought it was stu 'till some days ago....
there are some credits missing on twm and synk, so i guess it's gonna be harer to know right who exactly did some stuff on it, but we will try.
funk odyssey may have some lacks too but we must search and about last album i think everything on credits is quite good stated, we only have to remember from interviews where each tracks was recorded...

I'm really impressed!!! clapping

Laughing Only on my free time! I like knowing this things.

Thanks Jamirokaki for your help. Yeah, I noticed the 3 guitar players on EOPE, but in the album didn't say much. And unfortunately I don't have any singles from that era yet (hard to find down here).

Alright, I'll edit the stuff later.

OK, here's what I got so far (oh please someone knows the credits of 'Time Won't Wait'?? THANKS! Very Happy )

I updated the chart positions of all the singles (except for COTE, I'll search it later) and extra information on promos and stuff. I've also added samples contained in 'Funktion' and 'Alright'. Oh! And forgot the B-Sides songs! I have even more things to add, but for the interested, here it is:

Never released as a full single, Light Years still saw a fairly decent release and even had a video and remix video produced. The non-US versions of this single feature various live recordings. Scam, Journey To Arnhemland, and We Gettin' Down were all taken from the Paradiso concert in Amsterdam in 1994 (featuerd on the Funky Paradise bootleg). The live version of Light Years was from the Theatre De Moulin show in Marseille, France, in 1994 (the same version as the one found on the US The Return Of The Space Cowboy album release).

Having only been released as a single in Japan, The Kids is a rarity among collectors. Though it was recorded during the era of the first album, and released in the interim in-between the first and second albums, The Kids was included on the second album (and subsequently on various versions of the Space Cowboy single).

Yeah, I like doing those kind of searches.
I added to my computer who played the trumpet on COTE and the backing singer too. I updated most of the singles with info and added all the awards of Virtual and TWM. I'll post them later.

Thanks Jamirokaki

Hello there

Got to say I have like 21 word pages of this little research. I added a lot of information in each album, but I still need the credits for 'Slipin N Slidin', and how many albums they sold of each one (aproximately). Please. I'll post the final information in the upcoming days, I still got to add information about each video and about the live b sides.

Thanks
