Synkronized Jamiroquai Official Site Still Online...WOW
Hello everyone, :bm_b:
I found another cool site from Jamiroquai's past online, it appears the old "Synkronized" Jamiroquai Official Site is STILL ONLINE! I didn't realize Sony still had this OK site still burning on the Sony server, brought back a few memories, mostly amazed on how far technologywise the new Official Site has come in comparison. Take a stroll down "Synkronized" lane and clicky over to http://www.jamiroquaimusic.com ! Thanks for listening the usual props to CosmicMouse & Bear, and I hope Jamirotalk.net wins in 2004 Jamlines! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

JAMIROFAN'S THOUGHT OF THE POST
-----------------------------------------------------------
I remember back in 99' spending hours upon hours
playing with the Buffaloman lights on the Digital page
of the site. It's amazing, it's still updated, after all
this time, they put up the news about Jamiroquai's
2003 Brit Award nomination....weird!

P.S. These pictures are from the old site, if your wondering. |

Hi,
Thanks for the link Jamirofan. I'm surprised that Sony actually still have this site, so seeing it updated is even more unusual (I mean what is the point in having 2 official websites, especially one for an older album?) But nonetheless it was nice to have a look at. I esp. liked the big animation of JK.
take care

I think the fact that they have the current news on the old site is easy to explain:
I guess they are connected to the news-database of the national versions of the sony-website. Everytime when for example the french sony website announces an information about Jamiroquai, the message is rooted automatically to the news section of the old jami-website. This must be a left-over from earlier times, when the website was active. I don't think that there is still a webmaster who cares about the site, because there are some broken links.
This is the same with jamiroquai.co.uk. There are the different news sections of different countries, and when for example SonyGermany announces some news, the same text appears in the geman news section of jamiroquai.co.uk. I am sure this works automatically. My husband is web-programmer, too, and he just programmed things like this for another webportal. That's why I came to this conclusion ;)

Thanks for that CosmicMouse, now it all makes sence to me. Why didn't I think of that?
It sounds like a quite complex, system (but crap, because the official site itsn't exactly the best by a long way). Jamirotalk.net is what I like and all I need.
Take care
