Ideas for forthcoming singles ARTWORKS!
Hello Jamirotalkers,
Now we are closer to the release of the second single from Dynamite and I was thinking if you have an idea for the cover artworkof any of the songs from Dynamite that sounds like possible singles.
I had an idea for '(Don't) Give Hate A Chance' (or 'Dynamite'), both are great disco tracks, so here it is:
Hope you liked it, and post your ideas!
(I always liked the shape of the buffalo man in almost everything! The Jay's Selection cover for example -my banner- with the buffalo man made with food.. haha is very funny and original!)

That's fantastic, Diego! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |

Cooool!!!!
I tink is very original, and probably the best form to mix disco smells with jamiro symbol. Very good!!
Unfortunately I'm inefficient in this kind of computing hookups
Can you think another one for the second single, SDISJ? If you coincide more or less with the real one, you are the best |

Hello,
WHOA ...now that is a COOL design Brother D, well done! You should send that idea to David Rowe, also you should design a single cover SDISJ single cover too. Sort of like the old Little L American CD Promo cover here:
I was thinking a CGI image of a beach with a Buffaloman shaped sun setting on the horizon for the SDISJ single cover. Good luck on your next designs Brother D, if you do more! Peace!
Sincerely,

ain't it cool?
yeah, good job, that's exactly how I think of Dynamite, disco scenery!
And about the album cover - I really think it sucks big, the booklet's all black n white, pics of Jay sitting on the stairs... c'mon, anyone could've thought of something more interesting and cool. Some content maybe? I'm really beginning to think Jamiroquai is becoming one man solo. _________________ Can you feel it? I'm stuck inside a huricane |

(Don't) Give Hate A Chance was played some hours ago in a local finnish disco in Helsinki. Damn it sounded so fantastic there! People were first a bit confused "what is this track" but then started enjoying it as I was dancing and singing along and having the greatest moment of the friday disco night! _________________ kite carrier (geuze)

Diego's cover is really great. Well done
But I doubt that there will be always a connection between title or lyrics and cover of the single. When we look back, most singles had just different buffalo man styles on it, others shots from the video, like on King for a Day or Corner of the earth.
The cover of FJLIS shows me no connection to the title too. The dynamite cover itself shows a pic of the FJLIS single....
So I don't expect anything special in layout in respect to the title for the forthcoming singles _________________

Yeah, maybe you're right Monisum, but I like the idea of creating things with the buffalo man. Here I did another one yesterday:
See? There are a lot of buffalos around! And that SDISJ promo with the buffalo surrounded with (what appears to be) milk, is fantastic!
Any more ideas? I was thinking of a Tequila with buffalos on the ice for 'Hot Tequila Brown' (although is 'hot' ). And sky and stars for 'Starchild'.

Great covers Diego!
I think that giving the covers literal meaning of the song involving the buffaloman would be a bad idea...it would make it a bit cliche. It worked well in the Canned Heat cover, but I wouldn't take it any further than that _________________

those covers are fantastic! i like them so much!
but as we saw on the seven days promo cover they will aparently use the "paperdunnowhatmore" buffaloman surrounded by other stuff and with a quick photo.
the feels just like it should cover, with the broken glass could have connection with the song,as jay said is a song about a journey of discovering, and as you can see in the video is about anyone looking for new feelings, so i think the broken glass shows this passing trhough new limits and the danger it haves....
the seven days one could be just the bomb she dropped on him, you know the getting cold in a second because hearing a "we are only friends"..... _________________
