Hello,
(Stares at psychedelic Jami Tour Poster, then turns around and looks at EOPE booklet artwork and then thinks to self, "Re-hash?!?")
Hehe, I really like that Nokia tour poster, really cool to see them doing something "different" for a change for it . Though, I have talked to some of my Jamirofriends who that there might be some symbolic meanings in the questionable trippy artwork of poster. As I pointed out to them, this artwork could mean a number of things to a number of fans, to some it could represent the euphoria of JK's coming clean off drug addiction, to others it's a re-hash of EOPE influenced Jamiroquai tour and cover art, and to many, just a really COOL piece of art to stare at after a good prescribed spliff intake...HEHE! Whatever you think it means, I think it represents the playful and positive energies that Jamiroquai's music gives off in a thoroughly imaginative way, though the only relation I can see is that JK does like dolphins...proven in this picture:
DOLPHIN: Skeeee Skeeee...Ske Ske Ske!
JAY KAY: Uh no, I don't fancy Ellen DeGeneres!
! Well, thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

I think it's both: Jay's euphoria of coming clean off cocaine AND after a "little" joint. |

Great poster!!! MsP & I were discussing it earlier. On a basic level it looks good but you have lots of symbolism there as well. You got the dolphins, the doves & the eerie ghostlike faces... Pretty cool stuff!! |

it also rmeind me to the EOPE artwork, and it comes also in time jami covered a jimi hendrix tune so that also may mean something.......and by the way....thats not a dolphin its a "killer whale".... _________________

Isn't it a blue whale? Killer whales are black & white... Or is it artistic licence?! But yeah looking again I can see it's not a dolphin.

I totally agree with you Dyego!
What a fantastic poster!
I would like to look to my Dynamite album and see that cool-psychedelic picture as the cover of it. Represents JAMIROQUAI in all senses. |

yes, isn't the true color of a killer whale but it is, not any other kind of whale _________________
