It's about a superman!!! No, really, you just have to read the lyrics. Starchild is some kind of god ("I don't know who to believe, is it them or you?") and (s)he should come down from heaven to save us. Yeah, quite easy for us just to wait until someone comes and saves us. But the idea with Starchild is quite nice, think I'm gonna believe in him/her too. Yeah what a great idea: Let's found the Starchild religion: Starchildism!!! |

Alright, Jay actually said what Starchild was about during Brum NEC, i will try to sum it up:-
Said you know them big religion groups with millions of ppl who pack out a superbowl to sit and listen to a man in a white suit preaching about who he can save you all (superman), who takes their money and somehow gets away with pocketing it without putting it back into the community.
The second verse sums this up,
I've seen the preachers on the t.v
In white suits
With precious stones studded in
Their Boots
Cab you take the money, can you take their money?
I don't know who to belive
Is it them or you?
I thought you came down from heaven to save us
I thought you came but you just don't take us
hope that makes sence
