Google Yourself...
OK this is probably a silly idea for a thread but I'm sure a lot of us have already done this, where you Google your name or a friends names whether to find yourself or your friend or just to see who else shares your name.
So who else has your name & what do they do?!! |

Every article I've ever written or been in since birth comes up when I google my first and last name...damn!
But there are a million Indian Deesha's and some people on my space with my name too, and I only know one in real life..my Aunt.

Weird part is there are other people out there with my name!! However so far this suggests I am a teacher in Texas to Grade 4 kids & my alter ego moonlights as a porn star!!!
On a more scary side as I'm not famous in myself for writing articles like you Deesh, it kinda freaked me out seeing my name as in the "real me" come up. That's mostly from sites like for ex-students at a school or places like MySpace. Scared me into making my profiles in these places private or deleting my membership!! |

I also did it once  My name is popular, so I googled my nick which I use very often (not only in internet). Google found only 3 'czendo' in the world beside me: one is some lonely guy looking for a wife from advertisement , one is a butcher and one is a dog that won some reward
But I also know that we had some enters on our Polish Jamiroquai site when someone was looking in Google for my nick and found Jam.pl

there were alot of pages, but the first one says i got second place in a karate championship in 2001 at crystal palace (whoop de doo!) and the other says i wrote a paper to some welsh society, which they included in their minutes...

got the same problem . I even found my name on a Czech website who copied results from our website and didn't remove the names ..
Googling my nick only reveals that there are people with doesman as last name but all the other Doesman's is me
Doesman is btw derived from my last name (van der Does) and well, i'm a male .. a friend started naming me like that and I've kept it. |
