Dear Mr. Dominguez,
thank you for showing interest in our Jay Kay hat.
As we do not actually sell them, please have some patience till we decide how to procede with this matter. We might have to contact Mr. Kay's manager to get the permission to continue making
and selling them. You see, we made one of these hats for Mr. Kay especially, as a gift, while he was on tour in Croatia and played in the Roman arena in our town, Pula. He liked it, and ordered several more, in different colours.
I will contact you as soon as I learn about the possibilities of selling these hats.
Kindest regards,
Maja Kovac

It'd be SO awesome if they'd continue making those things. I'd even wear such a hat in the public. I'm not ashame of doing that, I'm serious.
All in all, that's Jamilicious. But it's still Mr. Manager's decision on should the hats be massively produced, or should not be produced at all.
Anyway, I'm very excited to see the outcome of this all. |

Assuming you're talking about the spiky AFO / Dynamite hat... do you have any idea how much Jay paid for one of those?
£2,500 for the cheapest of the three or four he used on the AFO tour, according to him when he appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross a while ago. The Dynamite ones were more expensive than that, I think.
£2,500 =~ US$4,800.
Ouch.

OH GOD... But I also heard a rumor that the hats were hand made. Pressing those hats out on a machine would certainly lower the production costs... If it doesn't... I'm making an AFO hat myself (Even though that's quite impossible...). |

Well, it's not anywhere near impossible to make one yourself - haven't you seen Diego's?

You're right on track Knjaz !!!
'Sir' JK said in an interview a long while back words to the effect of: "I'd become a Christian for Beyonce " . . . and he didn't mean so as that he would be able to accompany her to Bible class.

Hello,
I am sorry to inform you that we still have not received Mr. Kay's manager's permission to keep producing and selling the hats. I have made a note of your requests and as soon as we get the permission I will let you know.
Thank you for showing interest in our products.
All the best,
Maja Kovac
