Raul Midon ....if you dig "Stillness in Time"....
Hard to pigeonhole this guy but basically it's like Stevie Wonder singing a Spearhead song backed by Jose Feliciano on acoustic guitar. If you like that sort of thing.... |

^ good memories, good concert (referring to sig)
I love Raul Midon and I didn't think no one else here did, so I didn't post about him, but I got some goodies yesterday that I wanted to share, so I did a search and found this almost 2 year old topic. Sorry for bringing it back up...but Raul is about to come out with his new album in September, and I got previews from it, as well as some great performance clips from his NYC gigs. You can stream them over at
www.dee34.blogspot.com
I got into him when he opened up for Jamie Cullum. JC said that Raul made him go home and practice! I didn't see Raul, but he was so good that JC fans were raving about him and convinced me to check him out.
I'll see him with Musiq and Chrisette Michelle on July 20th
Enjoy, Deesha _________________ www.dee34.wordpress.com |
