BEST OF the videos!
Hello Jamirotalkers,
Following the 'Best Of Live Versions' topic, I was wondering which parts of the video clips you consider the best ones!! Here's my list:
'Supersonic': the first part with Jay doing the 'robot' dance and the color balls going to the rhythm of every instrument (red is digeridoo, green is something else... etc etc).
'Little L': the part where he has those lights coming out from his eyes, with the black light!
'Corner Of The Earth': where he is holding the Earth, and then standing with the solar system all around... beautiful! 
'King For A Day': The lamp that falls right behind Jay!
'Virtual Insanity':.. pretty much all the video!! 
'High Times': The guys chillin' in the hotel and watching the football game!
'Cosmic Girl': Zender and his face of 'what am I doing here???' 
I'll think of more. What's yours????

when you gonna learn: jay coping the thing from the pkotos (monkey smoking...)
too young to die: the beggining of the vid, with the red sun light
blow your mind: jay claps from behind his body
emergency on planet earth: stu giving water to the plants, jay with a lollipop
space cowboy:well i love all of this vid, but my fave jay's moves are quite at the end, when he aproach to the cam doing some great moves and stoping right after each position (i will give a better description)
stillness in time:all the vid, but jay against the sun in the final "papapa" is great, and when wallis pushes toby out of camera
half the man: the part wich jay doens't sing and just dances with slow moves, his stoned face in the whole vid, the final part when he goes doing like a bird
do you know where you're coming from:when jay moves the mouth totally different from the lyrics
virtual insanity: also the whole vid, but when he does the room dancing in diagonal (quite at the end)(i'll explain better)
cosmic girl: stu with scary face, when jay passes the other car and smiles, the beggining images against sun
alright:when they go out from the elevator, jays' moves to the keyboard riff (wahwahwha wha wah!)
high times: i lov emost of the shots in this one, the hotel part where stu goes mad against the wall, and someone's (jay's) legs appear walking in the air (upside down) jay jumping/dancing in the bed
deeper underground: jay jumos from the car to the stairs
canned heat: little jumps clearly helped by a rope, also upsidedown ( at the end)
supersonic: final part movements, just before they die. derricks moves
king for a day: when jay aproach to the cam singing with an anger face
little l: movements at the beggining with the funky jacket
you give me something: punch to the photographer, steal the skate to the kid, jay skating, the band in the room fooling around
love foolosophy: jay flying
corner of the earth: running with the "wolves"
feels just like it should:jump from the car, candyman
seven days in sunny june: band in minimotos, overcraft, jay with the old poncho

My picks:
You Give Me Something: when Jay falls down from the bed at the end of the video, while they're parting in the room.
Stillness In Time: whole video, but mainly the pictures under the flute solo.
High Times: the cuts from the videos of south american gigs and as they push their heads out of the tourbus
Cosmic Girl: the firework after "Sends me into hyperspace, when I see her pretty face".
Do You Know Where...: the dance moves from Jay after the second chorus.
Canned Heat: as Jay dances on the table in the beginning. |

for me the cosmic girl video always will be a car fantasy...except if someday in the future i can drive a sportcar in a open road like jay kay

the return of the space cowboy-specially when all the colors and the images start to moving and all the band looks so weird and all the colors change...

the parts that i love are:
Space Cowboy: when stu is playing in his beauty bass, and makes it with his unique style.. and when the camera is making circles and then all the bandmembers appears... it's cool...
Cosmic Girl: of course when stu has his "scared" face asking himself: "what a hell am I doing here?? heehehe
High Times: when the bandmembers are in the hotel doing some crazy things... and when the guys are preparing to start the concert... martin shaw and winston rollins appears like two seconds in the video xD
Alright: at the beggining when they are all in the elevator! they look beautiful!!
Stillness in Time: i like when the guys are running like mads, and having extremely fun!!
Canned Heat: when he's dancing in the room with the guys having sex... funny
Virtual Insanity: for something that video was video of the year! heheh
When you gonna learn: another magic video!

the funniest video is black capricorn day... i laughed a lot while jay is running away through houses.. gardens..jumping through doors... jumping from one roof to the other...
but my favourites are:
space cowboy / the way jay "moves".. just wowowowowww 
blow your mind...just 
seven days in sunny june..... such a feel good video... love that "french" style...
half the man ...i like it... .

Cosmic Girl - The cars!!!
 Seven Days should have had Jay with a girl that makes more sense of the song!!! 
Virtual Insanity of course is great and cannot be matched. |

my 2 favorite videos:
stillness in time: the guys walking in the desert, when the camera shows toby shirtless. and that same video when toby pushes wallis out of the way when they are doing the la's at the end.
high times: one of the most natural videos to me...when they arrive in japan (i think it was japan?) and the fans are all taking pictures and jay leans out the window and fixes his hat while smiling and blushing. i'm not attracted to jay at all, but he looked really cute and humbled at that moment.
and a more recent one:
SDISJ: when matt is on the piano with a pipe in his mouth, or rob just sitting there playing the guitar, the brief cameo of paul, sola carrying jay on his shoulders, and when jay does that dance at 'baby, let's get it on' |
