But no V.I. for the U.S. fans... hmm. Does JK have a resentment to playing that song live? Like he doesn't want Jamiroquai to be known for only that so he doesn't play it much? The Americans will scream for it.

Hello Jamirotalkers,

I don't think that's a great setlist... I would like to know what makes Jay to change songs like 'Dynamite' which is -not only great live- but also the name of the tour and album! And they didn't play the next single... or the first single...... not even 'Love Fool'!!! what the f*** Don't know what to think!

Im with you Diego, but I'll be hppy no matter what gets played. Depending on the setlist I'll either be just "happy", "really happy", or "extatic".

But yeah "Lovefool" and "Virtual Insanity" should be played. At least JMQ kicked off Atlantic City with "Canned Heat (The Vote for Pedro song)".

Hello,

Fully agree with Diego. Not playing Dynamite and Love Foolosophy is a shame. These songs were two of the best of the European tour! Besides I remember that Matt said that some bandmembers were really annoyed to play High Times, so why is it back on the set list?
The 13 songs compared with the (most of the time) 17 songs on the European tour is a big difference too. Very strange. I hope for the American fans Jamirquai will change the set list a little and add some songs (like the two mentioned above and Virtual Insanity).

Jeroen.

I just talked to Deesha on the phone (because Im meeting her in NY on Mon) and I asked her, and she thought that they played both Little L and Lovefoolosophy. She wasn't sure though because she didn't have the set list in front of her... I'll try and get a confirmation from her.

because lovely pete asked me to clear it up..i shall....

somehow i skipped love fool on my text to david probably, because it is written down on my messy sheet and i was in overdrive texting it because jay pointed out that me and chena were singing TWW so loud and other things that happened during the concert.

it was played in between BCD and MV/TWW.

and i will do a longer review of the concert, although i think most of it has been said on the official site and i seriously need to sleep!

and, as far as pictures....the security was right in front of our face, so taking pictures from a camera was hard...but, i think some people snuck some and my friend got some on her phone, so i think they will appear soon!

I loved the show and I had great seats up above. Have some great pics of the show...I'll post a link soon if anyone is interested in pics. Was GREAT to hear Mr. Moon and Use The Force...but I think JK catered way too much to the 'I'll play what you might know'. The house was def. not packed and those there were true fans...I would have LOVED to hear (Don't) Give Hate A Chance or Feels Just Like It Should.

About the setlist:

GOOD Very Happy :
They played High Times & Mr Moon, two fantastic tunes that they played earlier on this tour and the they didn't play the anymore.

BAD Evil or Very Mad :
They didn't play Virtual Insanity
They didn't play Dynamite
They didn't play the next single, "[Don't] Give Hate a Chance"?
They only played 2 songs from the new album.
Light Years, Loveblind, & Starchild are not being played very often.

I hope things change if they come to South America next year Very Happy

Goodbye

The show was absolutely amazing. Well worth the six and a half hour drive. The crowd was REALLY into the show, everyone was dancing, Jay Kay was on. Am very much looking forward to the New York show on Tuesday, I'm hoping that by going to the second show, the setlist will be different from the Atlantic City set, hopefully with some other songs added (Starchild, Dynamite, Feels Just Like It Should, Virtual Insanity). One or two of those would be excellent... Looking forward to the show on Tuesday!
