What if the Jamiroquai catagory on the net awards
was open to other competiton, here's what might
happen:
(Cameras pan onto the stage, lights flash on and off,
the announcer says) "Welcome back to the 2nd Annual
Dotmusic Interactive Music Awards, our next presenter
is known for her first US Emmy win for All My Children
after a 15 year nomination wait, please welcome....
Susan Lucci!" (Lucci walks out a Versace white bead dress,
with her trademark smile on her face, she walks up to the
podium and says) "Hello, I'm excitied to be here, I'm here
to award the People's Choice Award for best website. Websites
help spread the message about music, entertainment, and many
other pursuits while at the same time provide a invaluable
service for them.. free PR! The Nominees are...The Frenchiroquai site-
Jamiroquai by David (Cameras cuts to David in front and smiles,
cuts back to Susan)...Funkin.net-Jamiroquai by David Rowe (Camera
again pans to David & his wife smiling)...JamiroTalk.net-Jamiroquai
by Meike (Again camera cuts to Meike and CosmicBear smiling in
audience)..And...my little Ol' site: SUSANLUCCI.com by Susan Lucci.
(Four mini screens appear, showing all nominees, including Susan Lucci,
she's rips open envelope and says) And the winner is....Me, Susan Lucci!
(Susan starts crying, other nominees look at each other is disbelief,
a female escort walks up and hands the award to Susan, and she says)
"Oh, waa waa, I can't believe it, I've waited so long, like uhhhhh
two years! I would like to thank my web team for their hard work, I would
mention them individually, but I'm Susan Lucci, and they are nothing but
underpaid lemmings compared to me! I would like to thank my husband, where ever he is! I would also like to thank the other nominees for being
good sports in losing. Thank you one and all! (Susan is escorted off stage
with a trail of slobber and tears following her!)
