Tomorrow's score
Well this is the offtopic bit, so I hope no-one minds if I talk about something with no link whatsoever to Jamiroquai. There are a lot of Argentinians and, slightly oddly, I think rather fewer English people on this board (at least in terms of regular active members), so... is anyone stupid enough to try and predict the scoreline tomorrow?
I'm not. But it's one of the true superclasicos of the international game, so I will at least predict that it'll be the first interesting England friendly in a very, very long time...
While I'm at it, I thought I'd start a poll... so let's hear your opinions.

It will be a boring draw. Though, I wouldn't mind if Argentina wins. You're my boyfriend, but first what's first: MY COUNTRY
Go Argentina!!!!

WELL! Never thought THAT was going to happen! Two in five minutes! I was delighted when Owen's first went in, a draw would have been a very fair result all round, from a superb match.
But I think the fact that after that equaliser, which came so late, BOTH teams carried on attacking and going for the win (Cruz getting through and then going down looking for a pen, followed by the break for our winner) just shows that England-Argentina isn't a friendly, ever. Against any other opposition except probably Scotland/Germany (for England) and Uruguay/Brazil (for Argentina), once the equaliser had gone in both teams would have settled for a draw.
And wonderful to see a distinct lack of any players getting pissed off with any others! Not even Rooney!

Owen now has a great record against Argentina - they must be petrified of him.
But credit goes to both teams for a great friendly match. |

Ehem.....yeah...we lost, but I heard it was a good match. I hope we meet each other again at the WC in Germany and we'll see if Owen is a lucky bastard or if he's really good (that's what I think)
