New Fan Here!!
Several months ago we were on a rather long road trip when my buddy popped in the "Traveling Without Moving" CD. Yeah, I'd heard bits and pieces of Jamiroquai here and there, but I'd never really listened closely...WOW!!
That voice! The Sound!! The music!!! Everything!!!!
Amazing!!!!!
Since then, I've purchased everything there is to purchase, Jamiroquai-wise, that is and I'm sure there'll be more to come. In the meantime, did anyone else catch them in San Francisco at the Fillmore?
Being a flight attendant, I'm jazzed to hear they'll be playing in Japan...I'll be there and be extremely grateful!! Speaking of which, I'm glad to be here to discuss my newest musical interest. So much talent when it comes to Jamiroquai and I have so much to learn...
Bring it on!!

You found the right band to support, I can tell you that!
As you said you bought everything that can be bought, what about bootlegs? Check out Jamirohub, you can find info on this forum, and you won't listen to anything else for a long, long, long time.

Yeah, my head is still spinning from my first live performance, so I can't wait for Japan! Jay Kay is absolutely touched with the gift of song, Derek is there to make it happen...hell...they're all amazing!! When they say that Jamiroquai is a "Live" band, they ain't kidding...you haven't really heard Jamiroquai until you've seen them live!!
The two songs that really get to me...and I mean really, really get to me are: "Corner Of The Earth" and "King For A Day". Astounding!! Brilliant!! leave it to Jay Kay and the band to mix Bossa Nova and Classical with their own amazing sound!!
