'Electric Mistress' Remixes!
Hello Jamirotalkers,

As my favorite track on Dynamite, I'm thankful for reading this in the funkin site (is it the next single? Rolling Eyes ):

Quote:
Two new remixes of Electric Mistress have appeared on a Sony BMG UK promo vinyl release. They are as follows:

Electric Mistress (Yousef Circus Vox)
Electric Mistress (Kraak & Smaak Remix)
Audio samples of these mixes are available at the Juno Records website.

Anyone who tries to make a remix of EM can only "take away from" (and not add to) the track, so did these two remixes. I don't like them Confused .

I hope Starchild be the next single.
Electric mistress wouldn't be a good choice, but the mixes can be included on the singles and maxis of Starchild.
As they did with the release of COTE, wich included 2 mixes of Main Vein Wink .

Cool Thank You Funkin.com !!!

The remixes aren't special in any way, but still a good choice.

I kind of like the un-artwork ! Kind of classy sort of.

I would have perfered not to even have FJLIS remixed, I mean

Starchild, Dynamite, would have been so much better, of course we've been over this before.

Evil or Very Mad

As far as this being the next single, well Jay did give away a couple of CD-R's with the EM remixes at a show, so yeah, maybe?

Cool

Cool I found some comments online interview about the Yousef Remix, which I thought was pretty cool and positive..............

ilm: Yeah right, I mean that almost covers my next question. What’s your current favourite tune to play live?

Yousef: ahh, its probably my remix of the new Jamiroquai track 'Electric Mistress'. I've done two mixes; one is pretty much like the original, a disco work out, its relentless. It's not really a poppy arrangement at all. Ive also done this really warped mix which has also got the vocal in it, but sounds odd and quite nasty which is cool man. Jay Kay's voice is so soothing and to have a quite nasty underlying tone makes a nice balance.
