I guess that was a late april's fool joke from your friendm cvr316... I think this is one of the weirdest things I have ever heard about Jay... absolutely bullshit. I'll eat my pants if this was true.

I don't think so... he said in some interview that he was actually involved in some brutal street fighting long time ago, but it was more like someone tried to stab him but he got away. He's lucky to have survived through those times. |

Yeah he had a rough upbringing, but I very much doubt he ever killed anyone. Small-time drug running is the most I've heard of him doing.
He had a twin brother who died at a few days old... maybe you've got the crime + dead person stories mixed up into one somewhere along the line?

Uh, I had read that it was along the lines of him getting stabbed repeatedly and afterwards, he ended up trying to clean up his life and get with the whole music thing. Who knows whats true, but no; killing someone is a bit far for a guy like Mr. Kay.

I heard in a TV special that he was involved in a murder he never commited. In his EEEEARLY years. Like he frightened much, and started to focus him in music.
