Since you seem to be in vibe, can you please give me the esentials of Incognito? You see, I'm diggin' Brand New Heavies and Young Disciples and I've been serching links with those bands and it came out to be Incognito.
I'd really apreciate your help

hey noe Smile

incognito is a true jazz band that have been around for years and years. i just discovered them over the last year however. i think that their sound is chilling. they have crossed over to the dance category a few times but never abandon the allegiance to their jazz background and sound and live instruments. they are funky and the have some serious soul. to listen to 3 songs from their upcoming album (comes out this week in the states titled ELEVEN, follow this link: http://www.giantstep.net/releases/914/
here it tells you about the them, new album and at the bottom there are full songs to listen to. i absolutely am in love with 'we got music'.
you can listen to stuff from their older albums here:
http://www.giantstep.net/jukebox/
click on 'launch jukebox'. then scroll down to INCOGNITO and click on it. there are 2 albums listed besides ELEVEN. click on any of those 2 albums and listen to the songs.

you can also read some reviews people did in the forums.
hope you dig it. ENJOY!

oh funk education - since writing this, they decided to not stop in my hometown, but i am going to go see them in new york, which is only about 90 minutes away. it's worth it!

Hi noe,

For me the 3 essential Incognito albums are "Tribes, Vibes & Scribes", "Positivity" and "Inside Life". They're quite incredible albums, very jazzy! I've only been into Incognito for the last few weeks but they are a brilliant band. I'm not too sure about their newer material because I haven't got round to hearing it yet, but the 3 albums I mentioned are essential purchases Smile

their music is awesome, they got the groove and that's amazing to see in an actual band... some people out there must learn a lot of them....

haha you know the only album of theirs i have is adventures in black sunshine. it's a nice one, but i'm pretty sure the hits like positivity and tribes etc are way better. i just haven't gotten there yet. i'm waiting for a day i feel i've got extra ca-ching! hehheh.

buttt... i do have brother sister by the brand new heavies, and that soooo rocks!!!!! bnh are so amazingly good at creating these tunes that enchant you. whoooo. if you don't have brother sister, darn go get it now!!!!!

anyway i'm so pissed cause incognito are coming to singapore, where i live, for a nice intimate concert, but i can't go! it's for the mosaic music fest held here, and it only costs $28! (which is about 9 pounds, or 14 us dollars) grrrr!!!!! i was so friggin' happy when i heard they were coming. then i find out tickets are sold out, plus i'm underage. you gotta be at least 18 to watch. bah.
