Jamiroquai "FANatic" ready to release first single
Surprised no one has posted this....anyways, thanks to Funkin.com for the alert.
The site says that Atar, the guy that was on MTV UK's "FANatic" series with Jamiroquai in 2002, is ready to release his first single titled "You Set My Soul On Fire". If you want to check out a one-minute cut of the song, go to his site at www.atar.co.uk. For a first try, it's fantastic! Can't wait to hear what else he and the Funkadrome can do..... _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |

Very fantastic music indeed. It reminds me the old school Jamiroquai style, which is much better than the actual one. |

Bruno, you're right! But I don't think Jay smoked too much weed. He smoked it already in the early days. I think it's more the smell of his quid collection ^^ which corrupted his music. |

news from atar and funkadrome:
The band have just finished recording a video for their next single 'Clear Blue Skies'. Directed by the young and unique director Jeevan Chowdhury, the video shows the full 15 piece band in an intimate performance setting with a strong emphasis on musicianship. The video is currently in post production, but video clips will be available on the site shortly. Atar is scheduled to be interviewed by Alan Jay on Solar Radio in the next few weeks. A confirmed date will be available soon. The station is championing the band's music regularly at the moment and can be heard online at www.solarradio.com or on SKY digital on channel 879. The band are also securing a few select London showcase gigs for August 05. Details will be posted here shortly.
i love this guy's music. |

Up & Down your stereo!
Long time to wait, but now you can read here this:
The music contains traces of Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire, Herbie Hancock and Jamiroquai.
and now is also the time to listen! |
