I like them!!!!! But well to be honest I have to say that I'm not a fan in the sense of the word. I have some of their albums, one concert...and I really like it (fantasy it's magical) But..I mean...I'm not a wellknown fan.

I think it's ok since we're not not talking about that particular release, just about the band in general.

Anyway, I just love them and if there were no Jamiroquai, I would be an EWF fan! good Their live shows are so amazing and funky... I haven't been on any of them, but I have a DVD "Chicago & EWF live @ the Greek Theatre" and "Greatest Hits Live" album, which are both simply majestic. I'm planning to buy more of their live albums and DVDs. And Got To Get You Into My Life is a song of my childhood! Smile Boogie Wonderland is really a consummate disco track, as Jay Kay said. And Fantasy is breathtaking, by all means.
I'm not too crazy about "Illuminations", though... The only track I really dig is The Way You Move, the other is not more than just good... it's all IMHO of course

Yeah Jammineapolis, after creating the thread I looked back in the Music & Musicians topic and I found that, but it was that box set (that was even released in 1998 Laughing ).

No, I'm not a fan with the sense of the word as I'm fan of Jamiroquai, but I really like them, I still need to get one or two albums, and almost all the live discography. But they have some songs that are really something.

in the midst of my total insomnia, i am checking all the links i never have time to do in normal hours...anyway, while watching footage of lewis taylor (i think this man is absolutely brilliant..sad his show sold out in nyc), i stumbled on this EWF footage from the jimmy kimell show in late 2005. this link shows them performing a track from their latest albums, as well as a snippet of 'fantasy'. thought you would enjoy this....

www.3030media.net

EWF is on page 2 i believe. there is a part 1 and part 2. (scroll about 1/4 of the way down)
i am about to check out the common footage too - now there is a real rap MC for you! i really dig him. anyway, i love this website. and no, there is no jamiroquai on it.
