Kanopus - Time Heals E.P.
I know there are some fans of Kanopus out there, so has anyone else got this E.P.???? It contains four new tracks; "Time Heals", "Only Time Will Tell", "State of Unrest" and "Higher".  Hello,
 You know, I was wondering what the heck had happened to that great young UK band !  Thanks for the update Kieran, much appreciated ! I remember talking to I think the bassist of the group, he told me that they were going to put out a demo to the labels around March 2005, but then I didn't hear a peep out of them for a long time.  Great to hear them again, definitely need to get this, the new pumped version of "Indecision" is GREAT ! Thanks again Kieran for the spot on post and Peace!

Thanks Brent, I remember it was you who introduced me to Kanopus in the first place so thanks for that! Indecision is on Totally Wired vol. 3, the full version of it is terrific
This E.P. gets better and better on each listen. Current fave track has to be "Only Time Will Tell", so great to chill out to. More people need to hear this great band |

Hello again,
I'm happy to say Kanopus's new EP continues to be selling well from what I have heard from my new friend Tom, a guy who works for the promotions of Kanopus . As a little thankyou from him and the band, they sent me a package of rare Kanopus stuff, a few copies of the "Time Heals EP", and a Data CD with rare stuff, demos and so forth. There were a host of great rare early Kanopus pictures of the band, and a few live pictures of them. I thought I would share them here on Talk, here are the pictures, play close attention to the first picture and try to spot the Buffaloman shirt:

Hi Brent,
Again thats great - any chance of uploading some of the rare demos?  Oh and I thought Tom was the guitarist in the band?? Or is there two Tom's? One on promotions and one in the band? I'm confused!  The E.P. is great isn't it, current favourite track is "Time Heals" itself. More people need to hear this band, as Brent says go to www.kanopus.co.uk and support this great band

Correct lyrics Brent except the opening line which I think says "Only time will tell/If you and I... oh-eye), although it's hard to tell with that special effect lol

Funny you should mention that Kanopus song Kieran, I think that's the ONLY one of their songs I haven't heard all the way through yet OR even a full version of yet . I know a 1 minute audio sample of it is still on their band profile page on "Garageband.com", but I haven't seen a full version anywhere surface. But I will check my contact Tom and ask if he can send me a full MP3 of it sometime. And while I'm speaking about Tom and Kanopus, I got a updated e-mail from him today, which reads:
Hi Brent
Just thought Id let you know first, that, KANOPUS will be getting airplay tomorrow night on Solar Radio. It is a previously unheard remix of “ONLY TIME WILL TELL”. I’m going to put out a mailshot tomorrow to try and get people listening to the show and emailing in.
Next week we are doing a live telephone interview on the show and the DJ John Dean will hopefully be playing some tracks from the E.P.
I’ll let you in on more goss tomorrow when I have more details but this DJ picked up the tracks last week and seems to be really interested. He is talking about playlisting alongside, Average White Band, Herbie Hancock, Incognito etc…
