Adidas Detroit
Surely, it doesn't interest anyone but....on saturday I decided to make me a gift, and....I bought myself a pair of wonderful and brilliant ADIDAS DETROIT.
The price was € 34: I think it was a good price.
I'm happier than a teenager.....  |

....you can like them or not, but, most of all, they were at the best price in my city. I've checked all the sport shops in Florence, but this model was the only bang for the buck.
My original choice were the Adidas SL76 (Starsky & Hutch model) but...I haven't the money tree in my house....  |

My favourite Adidas models are Campus and Gazelle.
My favourite pair are my forest green Campus.
But I actually prefer the Gazelle model in general because my mum bought me a pair in navy blue suede with white stripes in the mid to late 70's when I was just a little boy. Call me nostalgic...  |

Hehe... any excuse to show off my two new babies... hope this works...
Gazelles are the greatest shoes ever. Overpriced (these ones cost me £50 / €70 / US$90, and no, I couldn't REALLY afford them), but beautiful... Only problem is I'm afraid to get them wet now, which living in Manchester means I never get to wear them outdoors! Still, I've got an old battered light blue pair and a worn-in pair of SL72 for that purpose... these ones are just on a shelf for people to look at most of the time...

Funky shoes!!!
I am still searching for a couple of adidas colour blue with yellow stripes the kind that had velcro straps on it... I saw them on a guy in a conference (marketing fella) but he was from southamerica and didn´t remember where he got them....
