Kirby Puckett
One of my childhood heroes unfortunately passed away earlier tonight. Kirby Puckett played for the Minnesota Twins baseball team from 1984-1995. He was one of the best players to ever play the game. He was the guy I looked up to long before I ever even knew that Mr. Jay Kay existed. He will be missed. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

pete - i'm sorry. that's how i felt when coretta scott king passed away. that woman was such an inspiration to me. she carried on her husbands legacy so many years after he was killed. i had the pleasure of meeting her in a ladies bathroom in 1995!
did you hear that dana reeves succumed to lung cancer today? such a shame. she took care of christopher reeve (superman) after his accident and didn't even smoke.
this year has already seen so many good people pass on and it's only march.
damn. |
