JMQ ARTICLE WITH PHOTOS (BUT NEEDS TRANSLATING)
Hi everyone, I found this today, but unfortunately I can't seem to translate it. Its a recent article (it mentions 2nd June 2006) as well as having good photos of JMQ. Also, if anyway can translate it, that would be great
Jamiroquai u mom avionu

WOW! That's my native language! I'm very surprised to see such an article!
Translation:
Title: Jamiroquai in my airplane
One of the most prestigous foreign Pop bands, Jamiroquai, toured through Europe using an airplane of the Belgrade company Prince Aviation. I was lucky enough to be the pilot of the airplane in which the frontman, Jason Kay, and the other members of the band were using to get from place to place on their 2006 summer tour. Stop #1 was London, and the first of the destinations were the German cities, Köln, and Nünberg (I'm not sure about those names...)
As I said earlier, the first stop was London. We came to pick up the passengers on the 2. of june 2006. We landed in Northolt (I think it's spelled that way), a military base southwest of London. The airport is the favorite of many celebs, because it's far away from curious eyes and the press. JK arrived, "Piloting" his Rolls Royce.
Shortly after, the keyboardist, Matt Johnson (The guy on the right), the guitarist, Robert Harris (Next to Matt), the bodyguard, John Swan (Middle), and his secretary, Georgina Hamed (Who couldn't come with us to shoot the photo - she was ansering a call) have joined Jason. The crew of the airplane consisted of:
-Zoran Modli (Kapetan);
-Siniša Šmitran (Copilot).
We were told NOT to take a stewardesse with us, because J had a few unpleasant expiriences with those ladies. How could we prove him that the image of the stewardesse known to him is miles away from what they really are.
The airplane was also equipped with an entertainment system, which couldn't only play movies, but could also show you the the planned route for the tour. The first destination was Köln, and the next day, it was Nünberg in which they played. Those were the cities in which Jamiroquai have played their first bigger June gigs.
This image was very dear to me: After getting out of the airplane in Nünberg, JK threw out all the things out from his travel bag, mumbling something. After doing that, he started to put them back into the bag, saying: "I'm really disorganised - I really need to organise theing better, it can't go on like this anymore...". The girl from the Nünberg airport (The one with the hands on her hips) laughed as if she went crazy.
Insider info: JK started to study piloting helicopters. The green book he tries to push into his bag is the most basic pilot handbook, which was also used by my colleague, Siniša.
This'll be a one of my most beautiful memories. I must say that JK, in comparison to other members of the band was really silent in the beginning - probably to see with who he was dealing with. On the last day, he just chilled, and when we finally landed from where we've lifted off, in London, J asked me for a business card, because everything was awesome, and he'd love us to give him a lift again. May that be so. I also must say that as passengers, they were really cool, disciplined people, and that they were never ever late on any takeoff.
The end of the trip: After landing where we lifted off from for the first time, the musicians say goodbye to JK and John. The band takes the airport's minibus, and JK goes away in his double-R, a car which is only a small part of his car collection.

I hope I've translated this well. It was nooo problem for me. |

Great translation, Knjaz. I love the paragraph:

What experiences could those be? And you've got to admit it's quite sweet that the guy's really concerned with 'righting the wrongs' of Jay's opinions of... um... air stewardesses. That's a lovely image.

I had a laugh at this paragraph as well, to think that Jay DIDN'T want women on the plane is amazing - I could only think of how many times he's joined the 'mile high club' hehe
