Jamiroquai Fan-Section on my website
Hello everybody there!

I am a big german jamiroquai-fan and I have one question concerning my website.

I want to make a section there with jamiroquai, but I am still hesitating because of copyright reasons. It won't be a big section, just "my personal fan-story, a report of a concert and a little discography of their albums with my own thoughts concerning them.

so I want to show the cd-covers and use a picture of the buffalo-man for illustration.

can someone tell me, whom i should ask, concerning the copyright?

Well, for the covers, try using low resolutions. Something like 150x150 or 200x200, just to show how the covers look like. About the Buffalo Man, I think you can use him too, in any size. I mean, his image is all over all these fan sites, so it must be legal if you just want to 'showcase' 'him'.

In other words, use low-res images of the covers, and short and low-quality samples of the songs, unless they are from the gigs, even though I'm not sure if the gigs, too, are copyrighted...

Thank you very much for your reply!!! Very Happy
You helped me a lot!
But are you really sure that I won't get difficulties, when I put some low-quality samples of the songs there? I think, this is a great idea, which could increase the interest of the visitors. I could make some low-quality samples of some unofficial remixes and studiotracks too, what do you think?!
Maybe I will post the link to my website here, when the site is ready.
