JK Gumball 3000 Rally...Brrrooooommmmm...
Hello everyone, :bm_r:
I'm back to my regular old flopsome self after getting over this cold, must of had 35 colds in 2002, that's what it felt like. Anyhoo, Jamiroquai is on their year break now, which we will see alot of JK floating various places (Bars, parties, what-have-you). Just read on Funkin that the Mirror newspaper reported that JK plans to be part of the Gumball 3000 Rally across the states soon. For your info, The Gumball 3000 is a rally race that has been held several times in Europe, and once before in the States, where the rich can race their cars across the country (In the case of the States, from San Francisco to Miami) after paying 8,000 pounds to enter. For info about the race, check out http://www.gunball3000.com , it's not a sanctioned race and very controversial, from my view. I just hope ALOT of safety precautions are enforced like other rally races: Double reenforced shoulderbelts, yadda yadda, I would hate to see JK get in a accident. Kind of ironic how JK is coming to the States and NOT performing any songs...maybe after the race at the champagne party? Well, I wish JK good luck on the race and hopes he places good in the standings! Thanks for listening and the usual props to CosmicMouse And Bear! Happy 2003 everyone and keep the Jamiroquai vibes flowing! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

JAMIROFAN'S FIRST THOUGHT OF 2003
-------------------------------------------------------------
After reading the news about the race, I imagined JK
& Toby being dressed like Burt Reynolds & Dom DeLuise
in Cannonball Run. JK as Burt Reynolds: Brass-etched
smile wearing a cowboy hat, and Toby as Dom DeLuise:
Dressed up like "Captain Chaos", Dom's alter-ego super-
hero. I think that would make a great video..ha ha ha

Hope he does well? He's going to get first place! On ROVE RADIO Jay said he's done about 300 kmph on the Italian roads. He's certainly not afraid to go fast!
I wonder if he'll be anywhere near Virginia? |

In the interview Jay asks Rove how fast he's ever gone and he says about 100km on an open country road!
imagine going 300km though... scary thought

That was about two or three months ago...
I dreamt that I was attended to a race (but not participated!!!), but Jay did...
there was a place where you could watch the race, I just remember that he had finished the race (don't remember if he won it), he saw his own performance on a screen and laughed because....he drove so fast that we couldn't see him nor his car, just a colored shadow..
Stupid, stupid, stupid dream
I'm ashamed
That's because I play to much video games with rapid cars _________________ Like every humming bird and bumblebee every sunflower cloud and every tree
