"Runaway" & "Radio": New Jami Songs.
 Hello,
 In the latest Mailing List e-mail from the Official Site, there was a interesting passage I thought I would cut n paste here for you to read :
New Track Information
After confirming the rumours about the Greatest Hits album in the last email, we want to tell you a bit about the new tracks that will be included on the album... So keep visiting Jamiroquai.com over the next few days where we'll let you know a little bit about the new tunes.
Hmmm...will it be audio clips OR more "dense and stupid descriptions of these new songs" from the record brass? Who knows, I just hope this isn't some pointless gimmick, you don't fool around with new Jamiroquai songs, even if the intention is fair. I will keep a respectful eye on the Official, when I see something pertaining to this, will post OR or I'm sure my fellow fans will post for me. Thanks for listening and Peace!

For now it will be confirmation of the names of the two new tracks. I've no idea when audio will start to appear. |

also in the GH we will have a rocky track i think runaway is the Smooth disco funk but FRA have listened the track can you confirm this? |

Hehe, I don't any fan, outside of Sony/BMG, have heard any of the new Jami songs Vincenzo, but I'm sure sister Francesca would be flattered to think she had heard them . Anyway, hmmm, "Radio", perplexing new song title, I get the early impression that this new Jami song, much like "Runaway" visually entales in my mind, that these will be "Anti-Record Label Intrusion" songs that discuss how record labels ruin their most productive musical artists albums by interfereing with them too many times....OR I could be completely wrong and still be "spirited jonts into discoteque havens"! But, hey, they will sound great, won't they? Also, logic dictates since most popular radio stations play rock oriented music, I would beg to guess that "Radio" will be the "Rocky" song and "Runaway" will be the "Disco ridden" song. Will be interesting which is which! Thanks for listening and Peace!

Brent, remember Fra said that the track she has heard (we presume it's runaway) had a style similar to dynamite.. and as far as i know dynamite is not a rocky song, is it? |

With 'Radio' the first thing that came to mind with me as well is that it was a Robbie Williams song only released about 2-3 years ago and also on his Greatest Hits album - a lot of people will pick up on the similarity with the name of the song being the same & both of them being on a Greatest Hits albums - maybe Sony/JMQ aren't aware of this - anyway I can't wait to hear both songs

maybe they ARE aware of that...robbie williams is famous and "radio" was rather well sold...sony know about that..maybe theythink..if robbie can sell a track with that title that often...may jamiroquai will bring us lots of money with this rather ordinary title too??  sony logic
